Welcome from the Circle of Jerks. We're a group of snarky friends who enjoy humor and sarcasm. However, we also love serious writing and often spend time critiquing each other's works.
Because we're basically already writing critiques anyway, we thought, "Why the hell don't we start a 'Jerk Reviews' group that the public can participate in.
So, here we are!
If you choose to submit your work for review and are accepted, then we will be honest and frank. Please keep in mind that our goal is never to tear anyone down. All of us, no matter who we are, can improve our writing, which is why our first written reviews are of our own works. We may have "jerks" in our name, but we're actually quite dedicated to helping both ourselves and others improve.
If you're interested, then please read our rules carefully, and if you aren't comfortable with the rules, then don't submit your work for review. Moreover, if you choose to participate but fail to follow the rules, then that means your expulsion from the review group.
