A F T E R F I D D L I N G with the heater tucked behind a closet for over an hour with Claire, we had finally gotten our way around the overly high tech device. The cabin now emitted an unnecessary amount of heat into the home. Comforting my inclement skin, but scorching at Claire's lightly tanned physic , she laid on the cool hard wood floor sweating profusely.

I sat in the living room after a warm bath in a fresh white dress that hung low near my ankles. It was my usual attire back home when the whether never went under eighty degrees. I hummed stretching my aching bones, being huddled into a blanket half frozen to death really did a number on your body. note taken; never do that again.
"Claire do you wish for some tea" I murmured gently getting on my toes and lightly dancing throw the small hallway towards the kitchen
"Lady Eden if I drink scalding hot tea, I think I might actually die." She groaned as I heard some more shuffling of clothing.
I chuckled reaching into the high pantry for some dried tea leaves
"Your welcomed to shower and wear one of my dresses, but I'll have to say once you wear my Nona's famous silk and cotton blend you shall never go back" I cheered placing the small grey teapot onto the warm oven stove as I peeked back into the foyer.
"That would be to much to ask for, but I highly appreciate it" she whispered bowing her head. I stared at the top of her head. it's a shame once I think we've taken several steps ahead towards a great friendship she gets all awkward and proper.
I sighed waltzing over to her and gently kneeling before her crunched up figure. Her muscles instantly stiffening At my closeness. I couldn't help but frown. What was making her hold back so much, in reality I should probably be bowing down to her she could most likely snap my neck in seconds.
"Why the change of heart" I whispered reaching out, tucking a strand of thick blond hair that strayed away from her high bun.
