Max's POV.
People call me different. People say I'm a miracle and a "real inspiration", but that's not true, couldn't be further from it. No one here knows why, but everywhere I go I have to have music. Weather it be in the car, school, home, there is never a moment that music is not playing somewhere nearby. Only my family knows why I'm like this. That was kind of the point of moving here, to avoid publicity. Let's just break down everything nice and easy. When I was in fifth grade, I was diagnosed with mild autism and that made me prone to overstimulation. When I become overstimulated my body kind of shuts down and I become unresponsive to outside stimulation, I basically become a zombie. A way we found out to keep me from being overstimulated is to put music on so I can focus on that and block out everything around me. Other then always having my music with me though, I on the outside, seem like a "normal" kid. Of course there are also other things my autism causes like how I wear shoes indoors because the change of textures can be overwhelming, I rock back and forth on my heels a lot and chew at my lips, I wear pretty much the same thing every day because I get multiple of the same article of clothing because, again, the textures. I also keep sunglasses on me at all times in case I am somewhere too bright.
HEY, SO IF YOU HAVENT NOTICED I HAVE BEEN CHANGING SOME DETAILS IN THE STORY. THATS BECAUSE I HAVE NEW IDEAS FOR THE STORY AND AM STARTING TO HAVE MORE DIRECTION WITH WHAT I WANNA DO. HERES WHAT IVE WRITTEN SO FAR FOR THIS CHAPTER. PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I HAVE GOTTEN ANYTHING WRONG WITH MAX, I DO NOT HAVE AUTISM MYSELF I ONLY HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH OTHERS AROUND ME. ALSO I KNOW IN REAL LIFE MAX DOES NOT HAVE AUTISM, AT THIS POINT THE CHARACTERS ARE BASICALLY OC'S.
