Max's pov
I take Ross to his house taking his directions. When we get to his block he points to his house. Its really... nice! The grass is perfect, all of the shrubs are properly trimmed, and the house itself looks magnificent. A two story house probably with a basement, and a wrap around deck with a table and chairs. We walk up the steps and he unlocks the door. "Well guess i"ll be on my way then. See ya tommorow. Stay safe alright." I say as I start to turn to walk away. Suddenly I'm grabbed by the arm and pulled inside.
Ross's pov
I see him start to go to leave but I pull him inside not seeming to have any control over my actions. He looks at me confused and kind of shocked. I pull out my phone and type "What's your name?" He pauses "Oh um... Its Max. Yours is Ross right?" I nod my head. "I should get going. My mom might start to worry." He turns again to leave but stops. "Hey. Are your parents gonna be here soon?" I tense at his words, I quickly nod my head and type "They're working late tonight is all. They should be home around 10:00" he looks at me and nods. "Okay." I raise an eyebrow at him " Why do you ask? Also if you wanna you can stay for a little. Its really no problem." he looks at me. Seeming shocked. "Um. Ok... Ill text my ma"

Max's pov.
I look at my phone and see its at 18%. Oh no. "Hey Ross. i have to go home." I say as I look towards the door. He looks at me and nods. "Well guess ill see you tommorow" he signs as i head out the door. Ross nods again and closes the door. But as I walk away from his house, I notice one thing.
Its 11:40. And the driveways still empty.
