"you can't feel your legs what do you mean?"
"jonah there's nothing there WHATS HAPPENING TO ME"
"hey relax i'm going to go get a nurse"
"what if they cut them off"
"babe seriously i doubt it" i move the blankets and her legs are perfectly fine

"but i can't feel them" she starts to cry and i can tell she's frustrated
"hey hey it's okay. i'm going to go get a nurse and she'll help you"

"i'm sorry"
"don't be sorry i get that you're upset, but freaking out isn't going to make anything be better okay"

"i love you too and now i'm going to go get the nurse and everything's going to be okay"
i leave the room and find her nurse
"what's wrong sir?"
"um Camryn can't feel her legs"
"oh no"
"what do you mean oh no"
"sir i'm going to need you to make sure she's okay and relaxed but i'm going to go find a doctor"
"but is she okay"
"she will be but please let me talk to a doctor"
"okay i'm sorry i just want her to be okay"
"you're a great guy for that but go comfort her"
"okay"

"so we're going to need to take an x-ray" the doctor tells me and Camryn
"why?" she asks
"well we need to take a look at your legs to see what's going on with them. we don't think that there's a problem but we just want to check and make sure"
"oh okay. can jonah come please?"
"i'm sorry but he's going to have to stay, but i promise you as soon as you come back he'll be here"
"fine"
"babe you'll be okay you don't need me" i tell her grabbing her hand
she looks at me and nods
"i just want to be with you all the time especially now"
"i know that but i'm going to be right here right when you're back"
"promise"
"i promise" i kiss her and they wheel her away towards the x-ray
she waves to me as she goes and i laugh
i love her so much
i hope she's okay but even if she's not i'm still going to help her with everything

after a few minutes of waiting they finally wheel her back in
i notice that the doctors and nurses faces look sad but Camryns is happy
"how was it?" i ask her holding her hand
"fun. they wouldn't tell me what's wrong though"
"oh well we'll find out everything soon right"
"i guess"
"okay so Camryn, Jonah we have some news to tell you" the doctor says causing us to both look at him
"and it's both good and bad" the nurse follows
"which would you like first"
Camryn looks towards me like she wants me to answer but i nod to her
"it's your body you choose"
"well bad please"
"okay so the bad news is that, you are paralyzed from your waist down"
