She smiled a little and said, “Celeste, I love you. I don’t know what I would do without you, and thank you for giving me my money back. It was very generous of you. You know if you ask for money, I’ll always give it to you. But this is the first time that you’ve given it back. At first, I was surprised that you did, but I then realized that you’ve been changing, Celeste. Not in the bad way, though, but lately I’ve been seeing a different Celeste in you. A more, mature and big-hearted person. You know I’ve always been proud of you, but always remember that I always be there for you, especially when I’m not.” She kissed me on my cheek and I got up to go by Josh’s mom.
I got a ride home by Dylan and I babysat my four younger sisters for the next few days. One day, I decided to go on a search engine on FaceBook and searched for a ‘Noah Christensen’ in the Evanston area, resulting in every-friggin’-body and their brother. I finally found him on FaceBook and made a new account and added him as a friend.
“CELESTE! Khloe and Kira are bugging me!” Mallory screamed at me.
I’m the oldest of all the children, following are: Leah is two years after me. Leah’s quiet and is a friggin’ genius at everything; Mallory is three years after me. Mallory thinks she knows everything, but in reality, she’s too much of a kid to be considered a teenager; Khloe and Kira are identical twins who are the youngest are five years after me. If they are together, which most of the time they are, they cause wreaking havoc, but they also make us all laugh and keep somewhat of a smile on our faces. I know, my parents, were shacking it up to the extreme. But, there’s a benefit to it; I earned a lot of responsibility and learned things from a larger sized family that most kids didn’t learn. Another problem, my mother is pregnant AGAIN! Oi!
I went to see what was going on, just to find that it was actually Mallory annoying Khloe and Kira. I walked back to my room and shut the door, and to erase away the thought and chase away Mallory’s obnoxious noise, I turned on my favorite band from my iPod and sang along to the lyrics, sketching a girl in my notebook. I eventually fell asleep on my bed, fully clothed. I woke up in the middle of the night, screaming Noah’s name. My sisters ran to my room to see what was going on.
Khloe and Kira were hugging each other, probably scared that something bad was happening. Mallory and Leah were trying to calm me down.
“Celeste, are you okay? Who is Noah? What’s wrong?” Leah asked me timidly.
Mallory had to be her usual loud self, “Leah, she’s not okay. Go get her some soda or something, she’s dehydrated. Khloe and Kira, go get Celeste’s favorite T.V. dinner and make it for her. I’ll take care of her here.” Everyone went to their job and Mallory said,
“Are you okay, Celeste? You didn’t sound okay a little bit ago. You were screaming at the top of your lungs, ‘Noah! Noah, save me!’ It was pretty scary.”
I sat up and replied, “I think so, Mallory. I had a nightmare about the, you know. They guy who saved me from the original kidnapping, his name was Noah. I’ll be fine, though.” I pulled together a decent enough of a smile to try to cover myself up for my mishap. It seemed to work.
When everyone came back with their object, Leah, Khloe, and Kira started to ask questions.
I answered Leah’s question first. “I had a nightmare. Don’t worry about me guys, I’ll be just fine. So what do you want to do, guys?”
Mallory, Khloe and Kira went to bed, leaving Leah with me.
“Celeste, lately I’ve been having horrible dreams about you getting killed by the kidnapper. I don’t want that to happen. I look up to you, Celeste, because you are so well-known for your singing, art, and acting. When you got kidnapped, I was so scared that you wouldn’t come home. I love you, Celeste, although it seems a little awkward that I’m saying that, though.” She laughed a little. She sat on the edge of my bed and we talked for hours.
