"So you just left?" Liam questions, falling back into his recliner as if his world had just ended. Kyrie nods her head reluctantly as she sat back onto the couch cradling the morning after pills in her hand contemplating if she should really go through with this.

"What if I'm not pregnant and I take these pills for nothing?" Kyrie asks looking over at Liam wholeheartedly. She knew going to her brothers house would be her smartest decision seeing that he lived closer to her work than she actually thought. She didn't have to deal with mom or her overbearing questions if she went there instead.

"Wait so you want the kid or you don't? Honestly your emotions are giving me whiplash. It's obvious you like this Miles Hightower guy, but you don't want him to know that because?..." Liam trails off, hoping that I could at least finish the explanation.

In all honesty, how in the hell is she supposed to know what she wants? She can't even discuss it with him, he's leaving in the morning. It's so stupid the little games they play with each other, it's even more stupid that She puts up this charade like he's not simply irresistible! In retrospect, is she really ready to be in an actual relationship with someone?

"Becauseeee!" She pauses. "I just can't be in love with him...I can't be in love with anybody because love doesn't exist!"

"Oh my god! Kyrie Marie Phillips, are you giving me that bullshit about love? You need to save that shit for the country singers and the single miserable hermits that make those types of excuses because they want their lives handed to them. Listen to me. This man loves you, hell he loves you so much he knocked you up...ON PURPOSE! It isn't just about you. He also put his life plans in jeopardy just so that he can spend the rest of his damn life...or the next eighteen years with you. I know that he was careless as fuck and down right stupid for what he did, but it's man logic. We always seem to fuck shit up. That's why we have you there...to fix it."

Kyrie couldn't believe what her brother was saying nor could she argue him on something such as  "man logic" all she knew was that something just isn't right with what just happened. Of course she wanted to talk to Miles about it, but what could possibly make things right. And who knew when Miles would be back. He could be gone a whole year and not bat an eye. He didn't have anybody to come home to.

"Your problem is that you have too much pride and you set your standards incredibly high for the men you start an relationship with. Here's this perfect guy, rich, I'm assuming handsome, successful and everything you've ever dreamed of. You're faulting this guy because he's falling for you. Seriously, how does that sound? Every single woman in America is looking for somebody to love them. You've found your guy and you don't even want to be around him."

Maybe Liam was right. Maybe just maybe Kyrie was being difficult, but she didn't think so. It wasn't that he was falling for her, it wasn't that she couldn't admit that she has feelings. It's the fact that she just didn't know if being in a relationship with him would be a good life choice. Sure he has luxuries and beauty, but she just needs time to work everything that has just happened into her mind. Besides, there's nothing wrong with high standards.

"Liam I just need time to clear my mind. He's pushed a lot on me at one time. I mean how did he think I was going to react? I wasn't going to jump in his arms and tell him to make love to me in the middle of the hallway. If he loved me and knew me like he thinks he does, he'd know that I would react the way I reacted." Kyrie ratifies in defense.

"And there my darling sister is a wonderful point. Maybe you should ask him."

Kyrie just nodded in agreement. She'd go talk to him, give him a chance to explain before she stopped talking to him completely. Maybe they can work things out before this little fight that they're having goes too far.

"I have a feeling that you just want me out of your house." Kyrie pouts, folding her arms over her huge chest.

"Darling and smart." Liam chuckles as Kyrie takes a pillow from off his sofa and throws it at her brother, clocking him right in the head. She couldn't help but giggle.

"I'll give him a little time to cool off before I go back to talk to him. I can only imagine the fit he's throwing."
