"I'm hungry can we go to Mcdonalds?" I looked over at my girlfriend who was staring out of the window "Lex what happened to 'Starting Monday no more fast food'" she looked at me pouting "but babe" she scooted closer to me and kissed my cheek and mumbled "please baby" I rolled my eyes and grabbed her thigh, she squealed. I pulled up to McDonalds, when we got inside Lexie grabbed my hand and leaned into me "I love you" I leaned down an kissed the top of her head "I love you tooooo" she looked up at me and kissed my chin "welcome to mcdonalds may I take your order?" Lexie turned around and ordered for us I grabbed my my credit card out of my pocket and handed it to her, once she paid and grabbed our cups I made our drinks them slid into the booth next to her. "Do you ever worry about what's going to happen to us once you graduate?" I stopped eating then looked at her, this was always hard to talk about while Lexie was a sophomore I was a junior I barely had a year left and she was scared of me leaving "Lex, I already told you I wasn't going anywhere, I'm staying here close to you. One day I want to marry you, you know this already" I put my arm around her and pulled her closer to me "My mom wants me home early can you drop me off?" Once we finished eating and threw the trash away we left and I pulled Into her drive way, she wouldn't look at me I turned the car off and Locked the doors "What's wrong?" She just looked down I reached over and grabbed her hand "Baby? Tell me." She just shook her head "I'm just worried about loosing you.." I unlocked the doors, got out and walked over to her side, I motioned for her to get out of the car. Once she got out I wrapped my arms around her "baby no matter what happens I promise you I will not leave you." She nodded into my chest, I know she was scared.. So was I... More than I'd like to admit ever since my mom ran off with some younger guy my dad has been drinking more.. And the bruises are in more noticeable places.. I was pulled out of my thoughts by her lips on mine "I have to go but call me once you get home okay?" I nodded "I love you" "I love you too, come back later if you need to" I watched her go inside and got back in my car and drove home. Once I got out and walked in my dad met me at the door "Where have you been?" I rolled my eyes "with my girlfriend" he grabbed my arm roughly and pulled me in "I thought I told you that you couldn't see her anymore?" " and I thought I told you to go suck a dick, I'm not going to dump my girlfriend because your jack ass tells me too, so fuck off." He pushed me towards the stairs "I'll be home later don't you dare leave" I walked up the stairs and sat down on my bed and checked my messages

I looked at the picture of Lexie and I from our first date I smiled at the memory I quickly changed and grabbed my bag along with my phone and ran down stairs I grabbed my keys and walked out to my car I quickly called Lexie "Hello?" "Babe I'm coming over there's something I need to talk to you about." "Are you okay? Please tell me you are okay." I let out a long sigh "I'll be pulling up soon." I hung up.
