The horse didn't move. Regina felt herself begin to shake. Perhaps she had been shaking before and only now was she aware of it. The horse dropped its head and its reigns fell into Regina's view. Regina sighed and grabbed the reigns. She pulled herself to her feet and stumbled along side the horse as they made their way to the castle.
They stopped at the entrance and Regina fell into the snow. Her breath heavy.
A guard saw them. He opened the gate and ran over to Regina. "You escaped!"
Regina recognizes his voice. She lifted her head. "Jesse."
Jesse was her old stable boy as a child. Daniels brother.
He lifted her into his arms and other guards walked outside to help. They brought mother superior and David onto the castle.
One brought the horse back to the stable.
Jesse began to walk inside. "Did you find them?"
Regina nodded. "They must have been knocked off the horse. When I found them the horse had an arrow imbedded in its side." Regina said softly.
Jesse looked at her. "Did you heal it? Is this why you are so drained? We've all heard of your injury. I know about magic your majesty. If you are injured you know you shouldn't heal anything or anyone." He said.
Regina let out a shaky breath. "I couldn't leave him."
Jesse entered the room at the same time that the other guards ha carried in the others.
Snow looked over and ran to the guards. "David!"
Emma saw Regina. "Oh thank god! Why did you leave? It's not safe!" Emma cried and ran over. She pulled Regina into her arms and sat on the ground. "You scared me."
Regina smiled slightly. "If I didn't know any better I'd say you care about me Swan."
Emma blushed. "I do." She said.
Regina leaned her head on Emma's shoulder. "Well, I care about you too Emma."
Emma carries Regina to the same room David and mother superior were in. The maids were warming them up.
Emma set Regina in one of the beds. "How do you feel?"
     Regina raised her eyebrow. "Peachy."
      Emma straightened. "You're so funny."
Snow watched the twos exchange as she wrapped a blanket around David's shoulders.
Emma looked at Regina's wound. "You need help. There's only one person I know who can-"
"No! His prices are too much to pay." Regina said.
"Regina he's the only one who can help you right now." Emma said.
Regina shook her head. "I don't trust him."
"What choice do we have?" Emma asked. "Now call him! I know you can. I've see you do it. When you were trying to kill my parents. You've summoned him."
Regina bit her lip and shook her head. "Please don't make me."
"You are not queen anymore." She looked at her mother. "It's for her safety."
Snow sighed and nodded. "Regina I command you to summon him."
Regina didn't even bother to Wipe the tears. "Rumpelstilskin I summon you."
"So you finally want my help dearie?" The familiar voice said in the corner of the room.
      Regina shook her head.
Emma looked at the man. "Please. Help them."
He walked over to Regina. "Why so sad? I taught you magic. I made you a perfect ruler. And that's the way you greet me?"
"You're not going to help me." Regina snapped.
"Oh yes I am." Rumple said and walked over to Regina.
Regina shook her head. "I'm not paying your price."
"Regina you and I have been through a lot. I was there since you were a baby. I may have treated you horribly but that was to get revenge on your mother." He said.
Regina looked at him. "You-" She sat up. "You let my mother beat me and you left me for dead."
      He sad nothing.
"You will help everyone else. But you will not heal me. You won't touch me." Regina snapped.
"I didn't beat you Regina. Your mother did. I just left you. Whatever happened after I helped her get what she wanted was not my fault." He said.
"You left me. And then your servant or whatever he is-" she wiped the tears this time. "You're not helping me."
Rumple looked at Regina. "What did he do?"
