Some facts to make sense of this story:
1. The story begins from the point where Jahnvi tried to burn herself to death.
2. Shivaay accepts Annika as his wife, after Tia is exposed. So, throughout most of the FF they are a happy married couple.
3. Rudra does not get angry with Soumya and they try to work out their differences.
4. Priyanka confesses to Ranveer about her and Om's culpability in the accident involving his sister. Rest you'll read in the story what happens further.
5. Annika and Gauri are NOT sisters. Annika lived with her Chaachi and younger brother Saahil.
6. Gauri is the sole biological child of her parents, who live in Bareilly. Her father and Kali Thakur are real brothers. Kali Thakur is her uncle (Tauji) in this story. He is the villain, of course, lol. Why and how, you will see.
7. Minor detail: Gauri is educated.
8. Tia and Svetlana are not sisters. Tia is the only daughter of Mrs. Kapoor.
