Just Hurting

Chapter 2: Drowning

You felt the bottom of the lake pulling you down, down, and down. You let out your breath and watched the air bubbles make there way up to the surface.

It was fascinating everything was gone and it was just you and your impending death. You looked up through the water and saw the sunset and it was beautiful.

All the pain was gone and it was just you falling and it was bliss. Everything seemed all right until you closed your eyes and you felt a burning sensation deep in your lungs begging for oxygen.

Your chest was on fire but you were so close and just a little bit more time you would be gone. But nothing works out for you and right before black dots took over your vision you felt two strong arms wrap around you and start to pull you back to the surface.

You didn't know what was happening, one second you were on your death bed and so close to ending the pain and the next second you were being pulled up onto a hard surface.

You felt sand and rocks dig into your back making it uncomfortable and then you felt the stinging pain in your wrist from where you cut,  but what hurt the most was that you still felt the fire inside of your chest and you didn't understand why?.

You felt someone pressing on your chest and you were guessing they were doing CPR and not a minute later you were coughing up water but choking.

You felt yourself being rolled over on your side and patted on the back while you threw up water.

You took in a long deep breath of air and that's when you felt the pain. Your arms hurt so bad you felt tears prick your eyes, your body ached from the lack of oxygen and the coughing fit.

You were freezing and so tired but that's when you remembered the man who saved you. You went to roll over and you felt the man rest your head on his legs. You saw him grab his over coat and tear a piece off.

He tied the tore piece to your arm to stop the bleeding and then laid the rest of his overcoat over you. He then pulled you closer to him for body warmth.

You felt him rubbing your hair saying it was gonna be alright. You stayed that way for a few minutes before you heard the sirens coming closer and closer.

You felt so tired and the man had a comforting smell and you couldn't hold your eyes open anymore so the last thing you saw was paramedics running over and asking "what's your name" and then lights out.

"BEEP!" "BEEP!" "BEEP!" was all you heard and you didn't understand why. You heard voices but you didn't care.

You opened your eyes but was blinded by very bright lights. Were you in heaven? Did the man not make it in time?. You were kinda disappointed but there was no more pain, or so you thought.

You opened your eyes all the way and turned your head. Your eyes were met with bright, deep greens ones and you were hypnotized. The man was HOT!! You would have chuckled at your behavior but after all you did just try to kill yourself and you couldn't even manage to do that.

You turned back around and looked up at the ceiling. You had no one, not even your parents because they wouldn't care and you had no friends or anybody for that matter and it hurt so so bad.

You felt the tears well up and slowly trail down your face. You were so alone and no one cares or knows that you just tried to end your own life.

The tears came heavier now but you still had your attention to the ceiling when you felt someone moving you over and climb in beside you.

You could tell it was the man again because of his smell, Weird but it was comforting. The man laid down and put his arm around you and pulled you closer.

You didn't know why he was doing this because after all he didn't know you and he was a stranger but that didn't matter right now because you were hurting and he was there.

You curled up into him and cried while he held you close. You cried and cried until it only came out in little hiccups and sniffles.

"W-what's y-your....name?" You asked the man.

He sighed "my names jensen, Jensen ackles". The name sounded really familiar to you, you watched a lot of tv when you weren't working so you knew you heard that name from some where.

Was he in a romance movie?....or a comedy??....oh wait maybe he's in a tv show. And that's when it clicked...Supernatural!! You loved the show but you haven't watched it in at least a year because you were so caught up with everything.

But if he was such a famous guy and had such a huge fan base, why was he laying here holding you when you tried to just end your own life?...

You scooted back from him and blinked multiple times... why was he here and why would he let you cry on him??

You swallowed back tears and asked "Your from the show supernatural right?.... so then why are you here with me?? Shouldn't you be with your fans o-or wife?" You asked a little upset.

He sat up and rubbed his face "yeah and no, I was shooting scenes at the lake when I saw you and I didn't want to leave you alone because I felt as if you were my responsibility and my wife left me about a month ago" Jensen explained.

Oh. Shit. That sucks and now when you look past his good looks you can see how torn up he is. He had bags under his eyes and you can see that he hasn't actually smiled or laughed in forever and he's pretty skinny.

Kinda reminded him of you. You sat up and leaned towards him and hugged him "I'm sorry no one deserves that" and you pulled back.

Just then a doctor came walking through the door. Jensen stood up and crossed his arms and you sat there a little worried.

"Ah I see that your awake" the doctor said looking at you, you nodded and looked down at your hands.

"Ok well uh this is gonna sound kinda dumb but because you tried to commit suicide in the last 24 hours you cannot leave unless we know your staying with someone who can watch you for at least 3 weeks".

You shot your head up "why?" You were stunned. "Well because a lot of patients that get let go, they try to end there lives again and for your safety someone has to be with you and make sure you don't try another stunt like this again" the doctor explained.

You looked down again "oh" was all you said.
"So do you have anyone you could stay with or have any relatives near by" the doctor asked.

You knew the answer all to well and you let a couple tears slide and you shook your head no.
"Ok well in this case when you have no one to look after you, you will have to go somewhere where patients like you go so we will just get the paperwork filled out and-

"Wait!! she can stay with me" Jensen said suddenly looking surprised at even himself.
You looked up and your eyes met with his and suddenly it was just you and him until he looked back at the doctor.

"Ok well is there any relation between the two of you?" Jensen looked at you and said "oh yeah she's my cousin" and nodded his head and pursed his lips.

You tried to hide the little smile that formed on your face, so you looked down. "Ok well In that case you will be free to let go and you will have to fill out some paperwork but other then that I'll give you some ointment and bandages so you can keep your stitches from getting infected" and with that the doctor walked out getting the paperwork.

You looked back up at Jensen and he looked up at you. What the hell am I gonna do spending 3 weeks with a famous actor?! You thought.
