The Order of the Pig Story 2: Friends Don't Quit!

Chapter 4 - Make Her Smile

They took me to a nearby park and Axel sat me down on a bench. I was still very unhappy.

Axel: "Stay here, Jesse."

Olivia: "We need to talk."

They all hugged me and walked to another bench.

Petra: "What are we going to do with her?"

Lukas: "I don't think we can even make her smile this time."

Whenever I'm sad, they always make jokes and do funny things to make me smile.

Olivia: "We need to try and get her mind off him somehow."

Axel: "We need to do something fun together."

They thought.

Lukas: "I know! How about we all have a sleepover!"

Petra, Olivia & Axel: "Perfect!"

Olivia: "Where?"

Axel: "Jesse's house?"

Lukas: "No. She'll see one of Reuben's toys or something and that'll make her sad again."

Petra: "How about my house?"

Lukas, Olivia & Axel: "Yeah!"

Olivia: "Let's go tell Jesse!"

They got up and came back to me. My head hung low. They all sat around me.

Axel: "Hey Jesse."

I slowly lifted my head up a bit.

Axel: "How about we do something fun tonight?"

Jesse: "I guess."

Petra: "Come with us to my house and we'll have a super fun sleepover tonight."

Jesse: "I don't know guys."

Axel: "Come on, Jesse. We know you wanna."

Lukas: "Wait a second! I think I see a smile!"

I may have accidently smirked a bit.

Olivia: "I see it too!"

I covered my face.

Lukas: "Come on, Jesse. You can't hide that smile forever."

Petra pulled my hands away from my face. They were all making their puppy dog faces at me. I giggled. They all laughed.

Petra: "We got you!"

Jesse: "No fair! You guys know the puppy dog faces make me laugh!"

Axel: "So, will you come to our sleepover?"

Jesse: "Ok."

Lukas, Petra, Olivia & Axel: "Yes!"

Axel picked me back up and we all walked to Petra's house. Lukas caught me smiling again.

Lukas: "There's the Jesse we know!"

I giggled.
