Chapter Twenty-Eight

He held her hand back and smiled. "Then eat more to grow taller. You don't even eat proper meals at school. Do you eat anything good at home?" He sighed pushed the door open then went inside.

"Yes, the maids cook for me but I don't eat a lot which is probably why, it's not like i'm that short, I'm just not a model," she said with a pout forming on her face. "Anyways...what should we do first, I haven't been to one of these in ages" she said looking around at everyone.

"there is this shooting game over there. Let's warm up and play some car racing." He smiled pulling her to the shooting game by her hand. He saw that the first game was taken so he pulled her to the second. "Here." He said as he gave her a gun then took one for himself. "You're on the left side. I'm on the right." He said looking at her. "Ready?" He asked smirking.

Areum nodded and smirked. She played lots of video games she already knew he was going to get owned by her. "See you on the other side, Song Mingi...you're playing with a person who has been on counter strike for longer than I can remember" she said starting the game.

He laughed and shook his head at her then clicked play and went back to stand next to her immediately aiming his gun. A few minutes passed and he was in the lead, but he realized that she was catching up too quick. "Not bad." He laughed.

Areum scoffed, "Not bad? I'm an actual god" she said soon beating him. There was only a minute left on the timer and she went try hard on him. "Song Mingi, you may be good at basketball but this...no one can beat me" she said eventually winning.

He kept trying his best, and soon enough he had lost. He looked at her and sighed. He placed his hands on his waist after putting the gun away and went to the next game without saying anything.

Areum giggled and looked up at him. "Are you okay after losing to me? I will go easy on you if you'd like" she said, hugging him. "Looks like you're going to give me something special soon," she said with a mischievous laugh.

He looked back at her in confusion as he frowned. "What do you mean?" He asked. "I'm not giving anything. Because I won't lose another time. Be prepared, the next game is racing cars. No one beats me." He said looking at her while smirking. He sat down in a seat in front of the screen and held onto the steering wheel for the game.

Areum rolled her eyes and nodded. "Sure sure, okay this isn't fair I don't play racing games" she pouted and sat down on the seat next to him. She put her hands on the wheel and gulped, she chose her car and looked at his screen. "Okay, let's start" she said poking his arm.

"highest score wins." He said looking at her then chose his car as well. He clicked play and focused on the screen. He played for a few minutes until his level ended. The score was shown on his screen. He looked at her and laughed. "Yes! I win!" He said flicking her forehead. "Now we're even. One win to you and one to me." He said standing up.

Areum sighed and rubbed her eyes. "I knew I was going to lose," she said standing up after he did. She felt her stomach and looked at him, "Mingi, i'm hungry" she said tugging on his shirt with her other hand. She looked around a didn't see any food stands around.

He looked at her then down at her hand where it landed on her stomach. "Hungry?" He asked humming while checking his watch. 'it's almost 7...' he thought and looked at her. "Let's get something to eat." He said reached his hand out for her to grab it.

Areum nodded and held onto his hand. She checked the time on her phone and looked up at him. "Oh! It's almost time for you to leave to go meet your friend right? Maybe you should just drive me home then" she said putting her phone back in her bag.

He looked at her as she spoke and sighed. "Are you sure? We can go eat something before I go." He smiled. "You said you were hungry."

Areum bit her bottom lip and sighed out. "Okay...but I'll pay for myself—or do you want to eat too? Then I can pay for you if you'd like" she said walking out with him. She looked around outside and saw a sushi restaurant nearby them, "Let's go there, I'm in the mood for it" she said walking towards the place.
