I felt the burning desire to jump rise in my throat
The dirty sin of which I let the dark control me
I wanted to jump and leave behind the life I've messed up
I needed to jump and look for a fresh start
I couldn't even escape myself from the change I've dreaded to come
The burning ashes of my skin, floated to the ground
The deed was done
But a screech resounded in the ears of every person who's done me wrong
The majestic red feathers that flocked and rose anew
No longer the flightless bird but a predator of life
Staring death down the face and daring to approach me, another step towards. Me.
Even death cowered beneath me, grovelling for mercy

Finally.
