As I stand here in this room,
Im dying
Because the fear that those will not accept me
is real
Because if my parents cannot accept me
Then who will
Will i be forgiven for god for being what he hates so much
When he is the embodiment of love and acceptance
When i am so sorry for those who are out and fighting
While i cower in the depths of guilt and hatred
For myself
I am not what they say i am, im not evil
Im not unnatural
I represent the rainbow
The mighty flag which was born from the ashes
Of those who taught for our cause so we can
Stand in the light
I'm gay

For those who don't know, I am apart of the lgbt+ community but I won't bore you about it. If you don't support it that's fine, and you don't even have to like me. But, if don't acknowledge the pain that some of the community go through, especially for trans people, the rights that are denied for them, and if you think that it's an abomination, I'm sorry you think that way, and I hope you can change your mind.
God forbid.
