Devilish

The wind combed my hair
Closing my eyes as the breeze drove past
Hearing the trickling of the drains
And the scrapes of leaves against concrete
Tonight is a loud night
The devilish distant moon dared me to stay
Sat outside and feeling the starry night
I felt with my senses
When sight wasn't enough
I wanted to feel the light on my skin
To taste the sweet of the moons curves
And to hear it's voice call me on
I smelled the air of its sweet natural scent
And savoured the pine hallows
Suddenly feeling
A threatening glow of heat and
Dangerous glimmer of golds and waves
Of pinks and purples
Rushing like a tsunami hitting earth
Both risen and shook
the clouds awake
Giving birth to tears
The night was pushed to the edge
Until no sight be seen
The trees were given life once more
Awoken from deep slumber
Radiating with a lime glow
They spoke words of wisdom
Carried by the wind, not to be heard
But whispers
My eyes couldn't capture everything
That happened
And yet
I could feel everything.
