Maya's pov
"MAYA! MAYA!" I hear someone scream my name
"Hey Maya, it's ok" I then feel myself start to shake
"Maya wake up" I know that voice and my eyes fluttered
"Hey" The voice soothes me
"Hi Lucas" I day with a smile and I give him a peck
"I checked on Dakota already, so don't worry"
"Oh thank you" I tell him then I notice something
"I'm how did you get in here" I question him
"Maya, we were best friends, I know where you hide the key" He chuckles as he tells me
"Oh yea" I mumble "so what do you want" I ask him
"Well gee a guy can't visit his girlfriend"
"So we're dating now" I ask with an eyebrow raised
"Well I just thought tha-" I cut Lucas off with a kiss and laughed
"It's fun to see you nervous" I chuckle to him
"Oh it's on" He whisper-yelled and jumped on me. He started to tickle my sides and I laughed hysterically
"St-stop" I laughed out
"Not until you say that you love me"
"Ne-never"
"Come on you know you want to" He taunted and laughed
"Fine, I-I love yo-you" I breathed out and he stopped and stared at me with a look of seriousness on his face
"What" I ask him
"I love you, Maya" He said and I sucked in a breath
"What" I whispered. Lucas climbed off of me and laid next to me
"I'm in love with you. You don't have to answer, I mean I know it's a shock and all but It's ok if yo-" I stopped his rambling with a kiss
"Shut up" I chuckle "I love you too cowboy" He smiled and kissed me again. The kiss got passionate and heavy. I broke away and Lucas pouted
"I wasn't done yet" Lucas whined like a kid
"I love you" I told him firmly
"And I love you too, what's up"
"If I leave"
"Maya"
"No. If I leave I want you to know that right when I turn 18, I'm getting custody of Dakota and I'm coming back for you, if you wait for me" I tell him
"Of course I'll wait for you"
"I'm ready" I say looking at him in the eye
"For" he questions
"I'm ready" and he got the picture
"Oh, are you sure" and I nod
"I love you"
"I love you too" he said and kissed me
