10: The Baby Effect

Missy's pov(ohh)

"Your leaving" I ask Austin as he gets up out of bed

"Have to, we have school" he say kissing my cheek and leaving

Ah school where I have to sit watch Lucas play nice with the freak

Maya's pov

"Come on Dakota" I bounce her. I've trying to get her to stop crying for the past hour and if I don't get her to stop I'll be late to school again. Just then there was a knock at the door

"Uh not now" I mumble to myself.

"What" I snap not looking up after I open the door

"Well hello to you too" I can hear the smirk in her voice

"What the hell do you want" I say finally facing Missy

"Just wanted to know if you needed a ride but you seem occupied" she says an then gives me a look that has evil in her eye

"Yea" I say slowly

"Well maybe another time" she says and turns to leave

I'm about to close the door when I hear her say something

"Oh hey Lucas" She says trying to be seductive

"Um hi" I could her hear the confusion in his voice

"Maya?"

"Yes" I say a bit loud seeing as though Dakotas cries were so loud

"Why was Mis- give me her" I handed Kota over to Lucas and she instantly she started to quite down

"Why does she only like you" I exclaim and Lucas chuckles

"I have a baby effect"

"A baby effect?" I question him and cross my arms over my chest

"Yes once they see me they love me" he says confidently and I laugh

"Yes you are very lovable" I say pinching his cheeks

"Yea yes so why was Missy here" he said with worry but I ignored it

"She said she wanted to know if I wanted a ride" I say grabbing Dakota and putting her into her carrier

"That's weird" Lucas says grabbing Kota's baby bag

"Yea should we go" I say grabbing the bag from Lucas and he took Dakota

After we dropped Dakota off we drove to school. When we stepped out of the car everyone started to stare at us

"There looking at us" I whispered to Lucas

"Just ignore them" I says back

"Oh look at the lovely couple" I hear from behind us and Lucas and I turn

"What do you want Missy" Lucas asks

"Just wondering if you ever got the cute little girl to stop crying" Missy says looking smug

"I'm yea Lucas did" I say uncertain of where she was taking this

"So she loves Lucas more, she a daddy's girl" Missy says and people start to whisper or gasp in surprise

"No you do-" I was cut of by Lucas

"Yea she is, but Maya is the best mom" Lucas says with a bright smile and his eyes start to twinkle. Missy looks angry that her plan didn't work

"We're one big happy family" everyone gasps and Lucas put his arm around me and we walked into school
