ASTRALEA

I titled my head as I watched how the Astroloheirs made their way out of the forest where the children of the goddesses were last seen. They talked to the old man who saw Ceres on the forest. I sighed and walked on the stone paths that leads to my well.

Nakarinig ako ng mga yabag na papalapit kaya nag-angat ako ng tingin. It was Astoria. She's holding something on her arms, mga bulaklak iyon. I remember her asking me earlier for a permission to pick flowers from the garden outside.

"They're looking for you." I stated, natigilan siya sa sinabi ko at kunot niya lamang akong hinarap.

She didn't understand my statement, of course she won't.

"Who?" She asked curiously, I sighed when she went near the well to see whom I was talking about.

"The Astroloheirs." Muli kong saad kaya napakunot ang noo niya, nag-tataka sa aking sinabi. Malamang ang nasa isipan niya ay kung bakit siya hahanapin ng Astrologheirs.

"Bakit nila ako hinahanap?" Taka niyang tanong, tama nga ako. Imbis na sagutin siya ay napabuntong hininga ako at tumalikod mula sa kanya.

Maybe it's time to let go of Astoria. I've been with her since she was still a baby, maybe that's enough. It's also her time to be discovered.

She's crying. My heart ached seeing her broke down in front me while remembering her past that I took from her. Every details of it didn't missed. I looked at Astoria with sorrow in my eyes after the water finished showing her, her memories, she's crying nonstop without looking at me. She's just staring straight without blinking while tears flooded in her eyes.

"I-I am her descendant."

Nakatitig ako sa kawalan habang nakaupo sa isang bench sa labas ng palasyo. Marami rin ang nakikita kong estudyante na gumagala-gala dito sa may labasan. Napabuntong hininga ako, pakiramdam ko ay kinakain na ako ng ka-boring-an.

Kanina pa na umalis ang Astroloheirs para ipag-patuloy ang pag-hahanap sa nawawalang anak ni Zafira. Kagabi ay hindi ako umuwi dahil sa sama ng loob, sa katunayan ay sa library ako natulog at hindi ko iyon inalintana. Doon din ako dinala ni Dawn dahil alam niyang kakalma ako sa lugar na iyon.

Masyado akong naging sensitive sa pinag-talunan namin ni Frio. Ayoko naman talagang makipag-talo sa kaniya ngunit masyado nang mabigat ang dala dala ko sa aking dibdib, siguro ay mabuti na rin na nagalit ako kagabi dahil kahit papaano ay lumabas ang emosyon ko.
