Part 7 : Real Mission

With that answers, dahyun conclude that the one who took her home is seojoon.
"Aah.. thank you uijangnim!" She said

"Not me too" seo joon said immediately.

"Then who else? It's impossible that I walk by myself while drunk right?" Dahyun confused, she though she will never arrived to her apartment if she walk alone during drunk.

"You forgot one person" seo joon said

"Is it you?" Mingyu said to jungkook.

"Yeah, it is not an easy matter" jungkook said, he looking at dahyun and waiting for her respond.

"You? You always hate me, there's no way you want to take me home" dahyun's confusion just take another level.

"That's right, actually i won't. But the situation forced me." Jungkook said.

"Hey hey, are guys gonna fighting again? In this beautiful morning?" Mingyu can't believe his two friends.

"Hey you three, come with me looking for new case" Seo joon said. He pointed namjoon mingyu and Jackson and get up from his sit.

"You two stay here untill we back. And jungkook, it seems you haven't done my advice. Do it now." Seojoon said to dahyun and jungkook before walking outside. Namjoon, jackson, and mingyu immediately following him even they curious about what is seojoon talking about.

And there's two body left in the room, doesn't know what to do.

"Thanks" finally dahyun talked first after silence hit the room for minutes.

Jungkook turn his head to her. They sitting face to face, his and her tables becomes their space.

"I'm sorry" he said.

"I thinks sorry isn't a right word to answer a thanks" dahyun doesn't know why jungkook said sorry.

"I'm really sorry for everything. For being stubborn, calling you crazy and stupid, and not telling you that i already found the necklace" jungkook said sincerely.

"Oh for that. I forgive you" dahyun said.

Jungkook is shock, but he keep his face straight. He doesn't think that dahyun will forgive him easily like that.

"But hey, I'm curious. Are you really hate me? Why you seems annoyed with everything i do? Did i ever done anything bad to you?" Dahyun ask.

"No. I'm just irritated by woman presence." Jungkook said

"Why? Are you perhaps... a... Gay??" Dahyun said carefully

"It's not like that!!" Jungkook immediately said.

"Sorry. Then why? Isn't your mother is a woman too, why you irritated by woman?" Said dahyun

"My mother... is the reason. She abounded me and my father since my teenage" jungkook said, there's a sad tone in his voice

"I'm sorry.. but hey!! At least you're not alone. You still have your father" dahyun tried to encourage him.

"No, he passed away three months ago." Jungkook said

Dahyun is shocked, she regret on what she just said. She want to encourage him, but it turn the other side.

"Actually I'm same with mingyu. I graduated last year, but i never worked as detective untill now. Jobs vacancy always outside of Busan. My father has stroke, i should take care of him. That's why i couldn't apply any." Jungkook said, the sad tone much clearer to be heard.
