Part 22 : Random Thing Happens

"Yaaah.. isn't this very unfair? We are the ones who have worked hard but they are the ones who get the credit?!" Mingyu grunted

It's been two days since the team's succeeded in undercover and messing up the SG cosmetic's event. They didn't do any further act on that case. Everything has been handled by the headquarter.

In fact, it turns out that the drug dealer organization behind SG Cosmetics is the big target of Drug Division. Thanks to the help of Seojeon's team, Drug Division can finally see the light of what they've been looking for. They had not received any information for months. They don't even know that the organization operates under the guise of cosmetic products.

"They get compliments here and there despite they only came at the end of the show." Mingyu added

News of the arrest of a drug dealer has spread all over Korea. What the public knows is that the big arrests were made by Drug Division. That's why Mingyu was irritated. It should be the detective team from a small police stationa a.k.a their team that should get the spotlight.

"Just accept it. Is your goal to be a detective to catch criminals or capture fame? Be an idol if you want to be famous." Jungkook said

"Well it feels unfair, but it can't be helped. Besides, I don't want to be famous by appearing on screen doing interviews like that. We can't disguise anymore if the publics familiar with us. Disguising is fun" Dahyun said

"That's not what I mean. Shouldn't the headquarters at least send an award or a little gift to this small two-floored office? Or they can just send it to uijangnim." Mingyu complaining whilu turning his head to Seojeon who's leaning on his chair lazyly.

"I received it. Yesterday. I just didn't tell you all." Seojeon said with his eyes closed.

"Really? That is a rare thing. Did Chief Han give it directly to you uijangnim?" Namjoon finnaly join the conversation

"Nope, he told me by phone" Seojeon said.

"By phone? Was it just a 'thank you'? I thought they would send us a stock of expensive ginseng like what happened to my friend's team in the Law Division after they managed to uncover a corruptor" Jackson said.

"No. They rewarded our team with 3 days of physic and battle training." Seojeon said

"The heck?!" Namjoon reflex
"Physic what??" Jackson said
"3 days?!!!!!" Mingyu disbelief
"That should be called punishment instead of reward." Jungkook grunted
"Why??" Dahyun ask

"Seeing our pretty battered condition that day, they want us to be better prepared to fight. It's in Busan, and started today. I knew you all would react this way, so I didn't tell you." Seojeon said

"There were only six of us against dozens of well-trained bodyguards. Do they expect us to get off from that ship like a model?" Jackson scoffed

"But I guess we're not going right? You said it's today but we're still here. After all, who will watch over this area if we leave" Namjoon said in relief

Suddenly there's someone knocking the door. And three mans coming in.

"It's them, they sent us backup officer. Get your ass up, we're going to Busan!" Seojeon started to walk away

The other five are too stunned to speak

After a 3 hour drive to Busan, the detectives arriving at at the military training center.
They will stay there for three days and undergo various training such as self-defense, art materials, training in using weapons and many more. In fact, they have received training series since before they became detectives, when they were still students. But it turns out that the lesson at this military training center is a little different from what they got in the academy. There are many important new things such as examine the opponent's weaknesses etc.
Even though the detectives were reluctant at first, it turned out that the new thing made them enthusiastic. And 3 days passed quickly just like that.
