***

the next day,

both of them didn't say anything 'til the afternoon.

both their bodies were too weak to even speak.

"do..you think..it's time..?" she started.

"i..don't know." he replied.

both of their voices were so weak.

and weirdly enough , the doctors and nurses aren't coming to check them up yet.

"...i have a favor.." he said.

"i..really want to see be in the terrace."

"why...?"

"we..star gazed there , remember? i want to be there...just for a moment.." he said.

"me too...but we can't remove these tubes right..?"

"why not..? we're dying anyways. these tubes , they are just making us trapped in here. i..want to be free." he said.

the girl agreed and finally decided.

she removed all the tubes with all the strength inside her and tried to sit up.

the boy tried to do the same and finally did it after a few minutes.

both of them got on to their wheelchairs and quickly went out of their room.

they used all of their energy to get into the elevator.

that was the scariest time for the both of them.

no, they were not scared because of death.

they were scared that they couldn't make it up to the terrace before they die.

but luckily , they got to the terrace and had a chance to see the beautiful sky.

the wind was perfect , and flower petals were falling as it was spring.

"i guess...we didn't have to wait for one of us..to die." she said.

" i..suppose." he smiled.

"then...'til..our next life."

"yes..see you."

"but wait...we...didn't even have..a chance to exchange..names." he said weakly.

"that's...right..then...my name..is.."

just before both of them can get to their names ,

both of them died together as death called them.

the girl , died from a sudden heart attack.

and the boy, died from complications of marrow failure.

friends they call each other,

and yet they were families.

thus, this completed the story of both the dying girl and boy.

who had suffered through their life,

yet found hope during their last days.
