her room was big and empty since she was alone. And the nurse's words made her realize that she needed company.
"I wouldn't mind." She replied half-heartedly. "Thank you. He'll be here in a moment." The nurse said as she excused herself.
A few moments passed. She wasn't particularly excited as she finally have company.
But she was simply curious as she , herself , is a curious girl.
knock knock
A few people went in the room , pushing an empty bed , next to her bed.
No , it wasn't THAT close.
Once they were done pushing the bed , they all went out and a nurse came in pushing a boy on a wheelchair into the room.
"Thank you." The boy said as he was helped by the nurse to get up. "Of course." The nurse replied as she smiled and left the room.
Everything went back to silent. It stayed like that for a few minutes until the girl decided to break the ice.
"You know that it was a fake smile right?"
"I noticed."
