IU grinned looking at their latest picture that they took at the Yeouido Park before Jung Kook's departure for his world tour. Her smile faded as she realized how much she missed him these days. The progression in their relationship made it much harder for her. She wished that he can always be by her side but she knew that was selfish of her to hope for something like that from him.

"Okay unnie, now tell me the full story," Suzy said as she placed a bowl full of freshly made popcorn on top of the comforter. Tonight was their impromptu girls' night out planned by the maknae when IU suddenly confessed in their chatroom about her relationship with Jung Kook. Suzy, being self-proclaimed president of KookIU shippers called for sudden meeting at IU's apartment.
"Yah, wait for me," Yoo In-na yelled from IU's kitchen. She appeared with cans of beers in her hands. "Okay, now you can start," she said as she settled beside her younger sisters.
IU reached out for a can of beer before taking her sweet time to open the can. She slowly sipped the beer and peaked at her impatient friends. "Okay, it's gonna be a long story but bear with me," she cleared her throat and started her story, starting from the night at the park to the night of confession.
"I knew it!!" Suzy exclaimed while dramatically clapping her hands. "I knew that the golden maknae is a romantic type. Unnie, you're so lucky to have him and he's luckier to have you as his girl," Suzy continued.
"Aniya. Sometimes, I think I don't deserve him. His name is so big compared to mine," IU confessed.
"Yahh, what are you talking about? You're a queen of soloist in South Korea. You nailed every single award show whenever you release a new album. Don't you dare to feel small and compare yourself with others. And if people talk about you, just ignore them like you always do. Ji Eun-ah, you lose if you feel jealous," Yoo In-na scolded the younger girl. She opened the lid and passed the can to Suzy.
"I can't help but feel small. But, I know I shouldn't. I'm satisfied with whatever I have now and I have him as my boyfriend, haven't I? I wouldn't ask for more," IU chuckled before sipping the liquid. Calling him her boyfriend still left her with a warm and fluttering feeling and she knew her face started to blush because of that. She covered her crimsoned cheeks with her hands.
"Yeah, that's my girl. Now, you only need to focus on how to deal with the loneliness and missing him a lot when he's not around... like right now," Suzy said. She popped some popcorn into her mouth.
"Don't remind me please. I'm having a hard time now thinking that we have to wait for at least a month to see each other," IU said sadly. "It's not like we can see each other whenever we want to if he's around but still... I don't want to be such a clingy and possessive girlfriend but I can't help but missing him," she frowned.
"I don't blame you. It must have been hard, especially at the earliest stage of your relationship," In-na agreed while nodding her head.
"But no worries, thanks to you guys and my drama's schedule, I have a very limited to think of him. We did find some time to call each other or maybe face time once in a while," IU replied with a smile on her face.
