Ch.1 (Surprise)

Rhi's pov.)

My body jumps at the sudden ringing of the school bell. Kids rush out of there seats and into the hall to grab their things, and leave for the day. I slowly get up not in a hurry for, well anything. I shove my books into my bag and head out. I stop by my locker to grab some things I'll need later for tonight most likely.

I start to think to myself in my head and go over the rest of the day. "Let's see today is Friday..Schools pretty much over. Nothing going on tonight so I'll finish homework quick. Then be lazy and watch movies and eat crap. Nice." I smile tiredly when I suddenly get brought back to life by a tap on my shoulder. A few of my friends stand there with excited expressions on there faces. And I know exactly why. More specifically "who" they are gonna blable about. I sigh with a smile as I turn around.

"So what did they do this time? You creepy fandom stalkers?" I smirk smile.

"We're not that bad." My friend Lily says as she swoops her hair out of her eyes.

I grin more to myself. "Mhm. Suuure." I say as the sarcasm starts to boil in my mouth. "Cause the printed photos of them, and fan T-shirt's don't scream I'm a crazy fangirl." I chuckle.

Yaley puts her hands on her hips and smiles. "Oh we're definitely crazy. No denying it." She grins.

Lily buts in by showing me an article on her phone. "Anyway! There was a gang attack the other day, and apparently it was really bad. They said the gang had at least ten people as hostages and were threatening to set off a bomb at one of the near by crowded centers or something!".

"It was super serious!" Yaley buts in.

"Yeah and the Ninja were in such a hard place! I mean if they made a wrong move so much could go wrong! But they handled it like pros and saved everyone. No casualties!" Lily smiles big. "Though the ninja did get hurt..I hope they're ok." She says worriedly.

I look a bit concerned and surprised as she tells me the news. "Oh, they weren't hurt too bad we're they?"

"Not awful but I heard the Green and Earth ninja got it the hardest." Yaley sighs. "How dare they hurt my muscle man." She says dramatically and definitely talking about the earth ninja.

I roll my eyes. "You're man?" I chuckle. "Whatever you say. And as actually cool as it is to see the Ninja doing something useful other then paparazzi stuff, you guys are still pathetic. But! It entertains me so I go along. But still. You guys need help." I smile and put my hands on their shoulders.

"Oh hush! Just because you haven't found love yet or even barley had a crush on anyone or really see the point of the Ninjas doenst mean we can't love them." Says lily.

"Hey I'm not stoppin ya." I smirk smile and grab my bags. "Well. Gotta go. Have fun fangirling you two." I smile once more.

"We will! And see ya later Rhi!" Yaley says.

"Bye!!" Lily yells why waving.

I wave and walk out the door to head home. On my way home I think about the Ninjas and what not. I guess they do help out since the police really can't do everything the ninja can. So I guess they're doing..good stuff? I guess.. But to me it seems like they do it all for the attention. I mean where's the honor?

I walk into my house with the warm air brushing against my face. I instantly get a big whiff of the pumpkin spice sent all through my house. The smell of fall! My favorite. I put my bag down and hear my parents taking to someone. Someone's voice I know very well! I walk into the living room.

"Mr. Brookstone!" I say happily. He's like an uncle or another father to me.

"Rhianna!? Oh no it couldn't be. She's not this tall and beautiful. Who are you?! He chuckles and pulls me into a bug hug. I hug back tightly with a smile.

I chuckle and pull back."Yup it's me! So what are you doing here?" I say curiously.

"Well I came up here to get a few things and help your parents get all there things together!" He smiles and says casually like I know what he'd be talking about.

I get confused as I look over at my parents. "Get what ready?"

I notice my moms face start to look worried, and she starts twisting the ring on her finger. Which she does when she's nervous. "Well dear..-"my mom starts out.

My cheerful dad pipes up cutting her off. "We're moving! Back to Ninjago city." My dad says all happy.

My eyes widen with shock and for a second feels like I freeze in time. "O-oh..um..no..no no! We can not. I have all my friends here! And a normal life! I don't what to change anything! Just no!" I wave my hands around frantically.

My mom sighs and walks over to me taking my hands. "I know dear, but it's for the best. You know how work is for dad and I."

I look up at her with sad, disappointed eyes. Knowing whatever I say won't make a difference. "You gotta be kidding me?.." I say with big pouty eyes.

My dad walks over to me too. "..We're not. Sorry pumpkin." My dad says. With an apologetic face. They know I love it here.

"When are we moving back?.." I say sadly.

"Next weekend.." my mom says.

My eyes budge once again in shock. "NEXT WEEKEND?! Why the heck are you pulling this movie crap with me?!?" I yell starting to feel a bit panicked.

"We're sorry we didn't tell you sooner, but with all your tests and everything you seemed too stressed. We didn't want to put more on you." My mother says calmly.

I huff, feeling quite annoyed now. "Still a heads up would've been really nice.." I sigh still feeling sad as I pick up my bags.

Lou pipes up."Hey Rhi don't worry. It's all gonna be great." Mr. B says with a smile.

I look over giving him the best smile I could manage at the moment. "Heh, yeah. Thanks Lou. Well at least I'll get to be seeing you a lot more now since we're going back." I smile.

He smiles more. "Yes we all will. And I know someone's gonna be really happy to see you when you get back." He smiles.

If I needed anything right now it was not to be nervous along with all my other sudden emotions. "R-Right. Heh that's gonna be interesting. It's been so long. I bet we wouldn't even get along anymore." I chuckle awkwardly.

"Ha! I doubt that. You two were like pees in a pod. We couldn't ever separate you guys. He chuckles.

"That's true." I giggle a bit. "Well it will be nice to see him again.." I guess.

"He'll love it. And if you could try and get him to stop playing his music 24/7. I'd pay you I'd be so happy." He chuckles.

"I'll keep that in mind..Heh" I smile a bit.

"Well Rhi we need to finish talking to Lou so can you go get started on your homework please?"

"Yeah..Sure mom. Have a nice drive home Mr.B." I smile and go up to my room flopping on my bed with a sigh. "Well this sucks..Mainly cause I really love living here. It's fun, peaceful, I have great friends, great school. I mean what more do I need?" I think with a sigh. "Well at least I'll get to see my child hood bestie again.. Wonder if he's changed?...Hm I guess I'll get to find out." I get up off my bed and get into my Pajamas. I decide to do some homework but end up just falling asleep on my desk..Nothing new though.
