Chapter 27

Lauren's POV

Lying down looking at the ceiling,
I couldn't close my eyes, the clock indicated that it was already 3 a.m. in the morning and nothing than a dream appeared.

I decided to try the old method, I got up and went to the kitchen to drink milk.
When I went through Taylor's room,
I couldn't resist the impulse to spy.

I slowly turned the handle of the door, until I managed to open a little, enough to be able to spy. The moonlight came through the open window, illuminating the room.

Camila slept peacefully, hugging a pillow and with parted lips, she was wonderful.
I swung my head and forced myself to leave those nonsense.

Closed the door and went down for milk, returning to the room. I turned on my laptop and I stayed on the internet, talking with some friends and people I had left, until the dream began to arrive, it is more difficult to sleep when you aren't taken, so I ended up staying around a little longer in my bed.

The next morning, I woke up for almost an hour, feeling a discomfort takiny over my body, I almost went back to sleep, but I forced myself to get out of bed.

I went downstairs, rubbing my eyes, there was no one in the room, I went to the kitchen, where my mom washed the dishes a little distracted.

“Good morning” I kissed her on the cheek, I smiled

“Good morning, dear!” she said

“Where is the rest family?” I asked

“Tay took Mila on a tourist walk and your brother went to the park to play ball with your dad. You didn't go out yesterday, right?” she asked

“No, I stayed home. Why?” I answered

“I didn't see you last night.” she said

“I was in my room and then I went to the garden...” I took a piece of bread, biting it

“Did you go out to watch the night?” she asked smiling

“Yes, you can say that yes I did.” I answered

Camila's POV

Taylor took me out of the house early, we took a tourist bus that helped me a lot to get to know the city, even having a tourist guide, Taylor was explaining the stories of each part and when I didn't know any, she said it wasn't important, making me laugh .

“Mila, how could I forget?” she said and stuck her forehead “tell me A.H.O.R.A what is happening between you and my sister.”

“What do you mean?” I said disinterested

“Don't act like you don't know what I mean, I saw you two in the garden last night and excuse me, but shooing mosquitoes were not” she said

“What exactly did you see?” I asked, so I didn't have to speak more than necessary

“Everything...” she said

“Look me in the eyes girl, don't lie.” I said

“I can't stay serious when I lie.
Okay, I saw you with your back sitting, embraced in a hug and when she took you up to the room, because I opened the door.”

“We were looking at the sky. And then I ended up falling asleep, nothing more..” I said

She began to cough forcefully, then she let out a loud laugh, so much so that the lady who was in front of us saw again.

And I think she is half deaf, because half a hour ago a child, who must be from her family, is calling her.

“Lauren? Looking at the sky? This made me laugh.” she said

“Yeah, believe it or not, that's the way it was...” I smiled a little, remembering that night

“Mmmmmm, there must be something there..” she said

I rolled my eyes, somehow embarrassed and got up, to get off the bus that had already been parked, when I heard Taylor saying.

“You forgot your magazine” she said, getting up too.

After having lunch at Tay's favorite restaurant, we returnt home and I saw Lauren on the sofa in the living room, watching anything on television.

“You arrived! How was the ride, girls?” Clara asked

“It was great. The city is very beautiful” I said.

“And the tourist guide is even more so...” she said and pulled her hair back, referring to herself

“I didn't knew you liked women too, Tay.” Lauren said.

“I didn't know I gave you permission to takw part in the conversation, Lauren. But for your information, I am referring to myself and yes, I love myself.” she said

“Soo much modestic..” I said

“Shut up Mila. I'm going to take a bath, I am pretty tired.” she said, making me laugh

Then I was alone with Lauren, I sighed and decided to go to the room, but when I stepped on the first step, her voice made me stop.

“Did you sleep well?” she asked and I turned around, seeing that she was standing behind me

“I did it. Did you?” I asked and  leaned on the railing

“I did too.” she said and I smiled, not knowing what to do now

Apparently Lauren didn't know what to do either, I looked at her for a few seconds, noticing how pretty she is, then I turned around and went up.

This time she didn't call me.
