Camila's POV

Later that night, Lauren took the car keys and left, she didn't even bother to get a taxi like her parents told her to do.

God knows where she's going,
Taylor continued discouraged her walk and the reason is her sister said and Drew?
Well... what he did doesn't matter now.

We stayed in the kitchen, keeping Clara company while she was washing the dishes. Taylor broke the toothpicks into small pieces, I wouldn't be surprised if she said right now that she wants to do the same with Lauren.

We went to bed early today, I was dead from the fact that I woke up so early.

I fell asleep quickly, when I heard the noisy sound of my cell phone, I got up swinging,
I tripped in the boots that Taylor had left in the middle of the room, I took my cell phone and went out to answer, wondering who would call me at this time of dawn.

“Hello?” I whispered, as I came down the stairs, falling from the last one, “who is talking?”

“Camila, it's me...” the person spoke in a voice I didn't recognized

“Me who?” I asked yawning

“Lauren. I need help.”

“Are you playing the victim?”

“No! I crashed the car.”

“What about you?” I asked.

“I'm fine.” she said

“Well I'm not so worried about how you are, I want to know about the car..”
I walked from side to side, nervous

“The car is broken I only have that to say about it.”

“I'm going to call your parents...” I began to climb the stairs, but she protested

“NO!” She shouted “don't call them, I called you just because I want you to come and help me, so they can make them to I understand what happened, tomorrow”

“Me?” I stopped in the a grandstand
“Lauren, I don't know how to walk around the city, I don't understand anything about cars and I don't pay your bills.”

“Call a taxi, come to the address I'm going to give you and we will see what to do.” she answered

I wasn't very convinced to go, but she beat me for insistence, I took money, I called the taxi and went to a dark street, which only had a low light, and a pole then I saw the car totally crashed.

“You came.” said said and she got up from the sidewalk she was sitting, when she saw me coming running

“You should thank me because I came...
I should have left you alone.
My God, how did you do that?” I asked

“I was distracted, then I hit the pole.
We need a crane.” she simply said

“And what are you expecting, that I'm going to take it out of my bag?” I said with a sarcastic tone “why didn't you already called one?” I asked

“I don't have their number so I cam get one” she said.

“I'm from Mexico dear, if parents call a crane I think it will take days ro arrive here... Idiot, you had to call your parents, not me.” I said

“I didn't have anyone to call, everyone else would only make me more nervous.” she said

“And the engine? It shattered?” I asked, opening the trunk

“Camila, I don't know where in the fuck the cars have their engine in Mexico, but here it's in front...”

“Oh, of course, I already knew. I was just testing you, I wanted to see if you were drunk or not.” I said seriously, but very embarrassed inside “because it's obvious that I know that the engine is in front..”
