Percy and Chase soon met up with Annabeth, who was at a nearby book store. The tree of them hung out together for hours until Chase said that he and his brother had to go home. They all exchanged their numbers and Annabeth and Percy headed back to their own home. Once they entered their new home Nick was sitting on the couch, on the phone talking to someone, and computer (typing), with a glass of alcohol next to him. Percy sent him a sympathetic glance before going up to his room and getting ready for bed. Annabeth went to her own room and Percy went to his own.
