Chapter 14 ( Is it Really Easy? )

Authors POV

Hey guys, this is RahulKalosChamp here with a new chapter as usual......well this is a bit late but let's get going with the chapter. Please understand that this chapter is the immediate one next to the last battle between Ash and Sir Aaron. Well then, let's dive into this.

Ash's POV:-

So damn close.

Yet so far away.

"That was one heck of a match that we have had Ash, "

My train of thoughts was interrupted by a familiar voice which snapped me out of my trance.

Sir Aaron possibly saw my face change expressions quickly.

"What's been bothering you, Ash?", he asked eyeing me suspiciously.

I cleared my throat as I could feel a lump in my throat.

"It's just these feelings Sir Aaron. Just these damn feelings irritating and suffocating me. I had now officially participated in six official Pokemon Leagues and ended up fucking them pretty bad. I came close to winning the Kalos League, heck I could smell victory in the air yet I had been deprived. Then now I came close winning against you, against the Legendary Sir Aaron, but again it's the same old shitty story and lost the battle. Is my life gonna be like this forever? Failing up a heap of expectations tournament by tournament and making a mess out of myself?", I could feel my face getting wet with all my tears that I had been holding back long enough. I immediately blurted out with a heavy feeling of remorse in my throat.

My eyelids moved swiftly to the top of his body, scanning his face for any emotions. I could see his face change colors, brow tighten up and his face twitching up ever so slightly and his eyes moving up indicating an intense act of thinking. After what seemed possibly like a couple of minutes, I could hear Aaron cough grabbing my attention.

"I can sense your emotions, Ash. Pretty well too. Heck, I am an aura guardian for nothing you know?" chuckled Sir Aaron with a light sense of humor.

I couldn't help but giggle a teensy bit on the lame joke that he had cracked. It was not forced but I am pretty sure that I hadn't had such a hearty laugh for quite a while. Thanks for the laugh, Sir Aaron.

His voice interrupted my train of thoughts yet again.

"Ash, listen up very attentively. Do you know the reason why Arceus asked me to train you?"

"Well, maybe because we are of the same genetic race and you are the strongest after all."

"A part of what you have said is true Ash. Let me reveal it. The reason why Arceus asked me, especially me to train you is because of these following conditions. One, your aura patterns are similar to that of mine obviously due to our ancestry and Two, you might be surprised at this but your potential far exceeds mine."

I could literally feel my jaw drop to the ground. Me, having the power greater than the master himself? How could it be possible?

"You have untapped potential, a dormant power source far greater than mine, that you had been carrying all along. I can feel it's enormous power lurking inside you waiting to be unlocked. Our first task is gonna be waking it and then we'll resume your normal Pokemon training.
There's a good possibility that you'll be far stronger than me after your training so please go easy on me, Will yea?" asked Sir Aaron while giving off a radiant smile.

I couldn't help but to smirk at the comment and answered in an equally satirical way, "We'll see, ".

" So Sir Aaron, What's the plan?"

"There are many levels in the ultimate attainment of aura, Ash. I will help you surpass them step by step. A normal aura user may at least take 2 years to ultimately master aura but it is not guaranteed to master all the levels. But for your case, I think a year would be sufficient for the aura. So, get ready Champ. The real training's gonna start tomorrow and you wouldn't wanna miss it." explained Sir Aaron.

"What's tomorrow's lesson by the way?" I couldn't wait for my lessons to start.

Sir Aaron just smirked upon hearing my question.

"It is the basic for attaining peace and control over aura. It's Meditation."

Authors POV:-

That's it for this chapter guys. I am sorry if this is a bit too short but as I had said earlier, this is a filler for the remaining chapter.

Anyways tagging some of my friends to check it out. After all, all of you might have forgotten my story I guess. It's my fault though.
