Emily's day starts at six AM. She gets up and works out for thirty minutes, not that she needs to work out her body is great. And after that, she gets changed and she has breakfast with YN and Benedict. She then gets changed into some formal clothes, not a uniform but an expensive suit, and she goes to her private chambers where she works. Her work is the same as YN's, they work together to keep the Imperium running like a finely oiled machine. Sure she occasionally has to dispatch a fleet to deal with some Tyranids, Eldar, Chaos, or some Ork Warband. But her days are pretty quiet. She manages to keep her planetary governors in check and they are actually pretty chill.

She attends the same meetings as YN but she also meets with some of the leading figures of Remnant. Her first meeting is with Willow about changing the Schnee Dust company from being a dust company to being a banking enterprise.

Emily: Willow, as you know, YN wants to transform Remnant into the model planet and in his view, that means little to no factories or mining operations on the world.

Willow: But mining is in our companies name, we mine dust.

Emily: I'm trying to give you the opportunity to change that. The new city of Saiangrad, and by extent Remnant is going to have one main bank used by the Imperium. I am sure that I can get your company the contract if you agree to at least make your mining operations more eco-friendly.

Willow: That would be a great benefit to the company, throw in a hereditary title and we've got a deal!

Emily: Alright Lady Willow, you have yourself a deal.

Willow gives a slight bow before leaving Emily's personal chamber and Emily goes back to her desk. She then pulls out the proper paperwork and establishes the Schnee Remnant Bank. She then has lunch in the orangery with YN and Benedict.

When she gets back from her lunch she is greeted by George Lane, the minister for fisheries, and Albert Raus, the minister for food.

Albert: Your majesty, we have figured out how to end the hunger problem on Remnant and aid in the nearby planets.

Emily: Due to the fact that Lane is the minister for fisheries I presume it involves fish.

Lane: You are correct your majesty, may I present (pulls a dried fish out of a plastic bag) the dried and salted herring... it would also work with cod.

Emily: So a dry, salty, eight-inch fish is going to end hunger on Remnant?

Albert: Sort of, it is cheap and easy to transport food item that stays good for a long time. And to cook it you just need to soak it for two to three days and it is ready to eat!

Emily: Is it tasty?

Lane: Sort of, it isn't bad, but it isn't the best.

Emily: Regardless of taste can you assure me that this is not just a temporary solution. Is there enough herring and cod to keep this going indefinitely?

Lane: If we change the seas in which we fish every year then this is a plausible solution.

Emily: You have permission to assemble a fleet of thirty trawlers. You have one year to prove to me that this plan works.

Albert: Thank you your majesty.

Emily: But if you fail, the cost for the trawlers will be taken from your assets.

Albert and Lane give a bow before leaving Emily's private chambers.

Just to clarify, Emily's private chambers are a part of the palace but it is separate. It has its own staff and guards, a large and fully equipped wing with a penthouse grade apartment. A barracks and an extensive bunker complex. Think of it like the fuhrerbunker's big brother on steroids. The private chambers of each member of the royal family are designed to operate as fortresses if the White Palace is under incalculably heavy attack. Anyway, all members of the royal family, YN, Emily, and Benedict, in addition to some similar ones for YN's inner circle. But their family members would not have their own chambers, they would have to stay with their important family member.

Emily then looks out of the window at the beautiful landscape, it has just had a small dusting of snow so it looks even more like something out of a fairytale. She then walks out onto the balcony and she sits down on the Adirondack chair and pulls out her favorite book and she starts to read. After half an hour Emily goes inside and lies down on a leather couch in front of the fireplace and she takes a nice little nap. This continues until Erika wanders into her personal chambers and climbs on the couch next to Emily and licks her face.

Emily: How sweet.

She then gives Erika a scratch behind the ears and a hug before falling asleep with Erika on top of her like a weighted blanket. She is woken by one of the maids who comes every hour to deliver tea and a small cookie. Emily then goes back to her desk and drinks her tea and finishes her work before enjoying her cookie. When she finishes all her work she then goes her throne room. It is where she meets important dignitaries. The walls are set with amber crystals which are connected to each other with gold abutments. It is modeled off of the amber room from her palace back on Terra and it is one of her favorite rooms in the entire palace. The large windows let light in that makes the amber crystals sparkle and shine with all the finery that one would expect. She then walks to a small table that has only one thing on it, a music box. She winds it up and a sweet melody starts to drift through the room. It is as sweet on the ears as sugar is to the tongue. Emily then sits down on her throne and gazes out of the large windows that show the grounds that the White Palace sits on. She then looks at her watch and realizes that it is time for dinner.

AN: The rest of Emily's day will be covered in the next chapter however it will be a slightly smaller one than usual.
