"Okay love." Harry forces a smile. I'm thankful he's not pushing it more.

I feel I have calmed down slightly from how I was earlier. Time has made me actually think over things instead of initial reaction. As much I'm sure there isn't anything Harry has hidden from me I can't stop the nagging feeling that I just have to make sure.

...

As I'm walking to the front of Harry's office building I'm hastily trying to think of a reason to be here. At first is figured I could just say lunch but now I'm not so sure. I mean it's a great excuse but I kinda want to get in and out quickly. Wait, I can't just rummage through his office with him right there. I mean I don't even know what I'm looking for really.

The elevator chimes, causing my panic to grow. Stepping in a few people enter before me. Two men in black tailored suits. They are talking quietly among themselves. A woman stands in the front corner next to the buttons. I stand on the opposite side of the woman. Quietly I ask her to push the button for my floor. Giving me an annoyed look she presses it anyway. For the remainder of the ride I stay silent.

Everyone gets out on their floor before I do. I'm thankful because those few more seconds of thinking are nice. Actually no they're not. At Harry's apartment I know that place. It's in a way my territory. Here it's a foreign one.

Walking to Harry's office door I see something that makes me stop. A new girl is sitting at Sarah's desk. Instead of the normal dark red hair I see blonde. The look on her face is absolutely stressed. I walk up to her and stop in front of the desk. It takes her a few seconds to realize I was here. Maybe I should help her a little.

"Can I help you?" She tries to hide her frustration from her tasks with a sweet voice.

"Who are you?" I bluntly asks. She looks taken back with my question.

"Umm." She lightly shakes her head and blinks a few times. "I'm Harry's assistant."

"What happened to Sarah?"

"No one knows." She huffs.

"What do you mean?" I cross my arms over my chest.

"I mean she just disappeared." She snaps.

My mind instantly goes to the event I went to. Could she of been taken? She wouldn't be the first one to be taken from this building. Quickly I start to blink repeatedly to make the tears in my eyes go away before they fall.

"Why are you here?" She clenches her jaw.

"I'm here to see Harry." I try to stay calm. What is up with Harry and hiring bitches. This one is a human so I'm surprised she is acting this way. Then again I am only a human in her eyes.

"One he's not in there. Two I'm not just going to let you go in there." Her eyes roll in a way that makes it seem like I'm stupid.

"Where is he?" I ask her.

"As if I'm going to tell you that." She says.

"Listen here." I place my hands down on the desk and look at her with fire in my eyes. A move I've seen Harry do multiple times to cause intimidation. "You are going to answer my questions because I'm someone important to him."

"You sure about that." Her eyes rack down my clothing. Obviously looking at the color of them. She thinks just because I'm not a demon I can't be important.

"You little-" I get cut off by a masculine voice.

"Firecracker leave the new girl alone." Dimitri laughs.

I stand up and look at him. His all black suit looks good on him today. It seems more form fitting. The blue in his eyes really shine bright from all of the dark contrast.

"Maybe if I could go into Harry's office I would." I shoot daggers at her.

"She's only doing her job." He stops in front of us. With his next words they get slightly harsher. "Weren't you?"

"Yes sir." She's quick to say.

"Unfortunately this is Harry's girlfriend." Her eyes go wide as she looks at me.

"I didn't know." She's quick to defend.

"Yeah yeah. Now to more important matters. This file is to go straight to Harry when you see him." Dimitri shows the dark blue folder. He takes a look at the mess of papers on her desk and frowns. Quickly he turns to me and extends the folder to me. "This file goes straight to Harry when you see him."

"Got it." I try to fight my smile.

He mouths thanks you and turns around to go do his next task. Gripping the folder I rest it at my side. Looking at the new girl I see she's pissed. Her jaw is clenches and eyes are picturing how she is going to kill me. I give her a smile and turn to Harry's office. This time I go in without anything said.
