I slowly unraveled the piece of torn paper

that you gave me that day.

¨Hi Annabelle.

I know this is quite sudden, but I just wanted to say..

thank you for that note you gave me.

No one ever complimented

the words that I speak..

only criticize them

And I think because of that reason.

I have always thought there was no beauty behind words..

You helped me realize...that there is.

There is so much beauty in friendship,

words that could be spoken between a friend.

Even the silence is beautiful,

a sign of understanding.
