The next morning I took a quick shower and headed to the guest room to wake Dillon up, only to find that he had left.

I went down stairs to my mother making breakfast and questioned where he went.

"I'm assuming home. He seemed like he was in a rush out. He seemed a little scared actually, which got me thinking... should I maybe send Aunt Lu to check it out," my mother said.

I just looked at her and shrugged. I for one, knew barely anything about Dillon or his life at home. The last thing I'd want is for him to lose trust in me for believing something that never came out of his mouth to me directly.

After finishing the divine breakfast my mother made, I was quick to text Rebel. I haven't hung out with him in a while, and I kind of miss him.

Rebel quickly texted back that I could come over to his house, so to his house I went.

When I arrived, I just walked through the door–after all, I'm family to them.

"Hello dear," his mother said, as she was the first to greet me. "Rebel's upstairs in his room. Leave the door open."

Once I reached Rebel's room, I was pulled in immediately and hammered with questions.

"So how was your first date? Was it fun? He didn't hurt you right? Where did he take you?"

I quickly told Rebel to slow down before signing, "It wasn't a date, we hung out as friends. It was fun, I enjoyed it. He didn't hurt me. We got pizza, went ice skating at the hockey stadium, and played in rain puddles on our way home."

Rebel rolled his eyes before saying back, "That is a date, stupid." I looked at Rebel, very much offended. "I'm just glad you're okay and had fun.

I was about to ask him how he knew, but then I remembered that his little sister is Sam.

"I was worried because it's Dillon we're talking about. He has a rep for breaking girls hearts. If he does it to you, I'm gonna hurt him," he said.

"And I won't let him," I signed back. "Because I won't let him get the satisfaction of dating me."

Rebel laughed at my response then said, "To be fair, everyone that has ever asked you out never got the satisfaction of dating you. You're a hermit."

I just looked at Rebel with annoyed eyes and shrugged.

I walked further into his room and he was quick to set up Mortal Kombat. He says I have a problem because this game just so happens to be my guilty pleasure, and the only game I've never lost to him at.

We played video games for well over four hours, but I wasn't complaining, I love video games. Once we were done with video games he decided we should all play kickball.

Rebel texted his sister, his brother and of course, Emily. We all agreed to meet at the park down the street.

On our way down, Rebel was using the kickball like a basketball. He kept dribbling it around his sister and between his legs, to which Sam complained to Aiden because Dillon wouldn't let her have the ball.

Aiden and I just laughed at their childish ways. As Rebel continued to dribble around his sister, Aiden was quick in to steal the ball.

"What'cha gonna do now Rebel boy," Aiden teased.

Rebel, San and Aiden fought for the ball like it was a serious game broadcasted on live television. They continued to do this the entire walk down.

Once we reached the gate of the park, Aiden looked at me and said with a grin, "I can be good for one day."

I was confused as to what he meant, then he nodded his head towards the field we were playing at. Sitting on the bleachers was none other than Dillon.
