SONA'S POV

Its been two weeks since I have come back but the wedding scenario is still crystal clear in my mind. Rehaan, Priya, Rohit, Anisha and.... Dev of course.

A sudden thought of Dev makes my cheeks turn hot, is it blush? 

So you guys must be thinking what has happened to me and Dev. Nothing much, we are JUST FRIENDS! Here Bihaag is clinging all the time and on the other hand, Dev is being ignorant about me.

beep beep

"Going out on a date, what should I wear to impress a french girl" Dev's message flashed. Yes, he is in France for some camp and this idiot doctor who should be with patients is going out on a date. Fuck. why do I even care?

"Idk" I replied back

"Hey, you cant back off like that. You have travelled so much, you should know" -- Dev

"No matter what you wear, you will look like a gorilla only" -- me

"I guess you texted the wrong person, I cant be a gorilla man, look at my photo in your gallery, I know there are plenty of them (Wink emoticon)" -- Dev

"Get lost, I have work" and I switched off the net. He can get into my nerves really well. Idiot. What they call in bengali? Yea, Obhodro

Though, he irritates me at times but its absolute true that my gallery contains his photos, not plenty ok.  I was smiling when someone zoned me out of my world

"You are smiling, what happened?" Bihaag asked

"Nothing much" I replied as casually as possible

"Still cant get over the wedding I suppose" he said and he isnt wrong

"Kinda yea"

"Club tonight?" he asked and I refused. I have quit drinking on regular basis, its just occasionally. 

"Ok" his face fell but cant help. I have important video call with Rehaan tonight as he has finally returned from his honeymoon. 

"I gotta go now, cya tomorrow" Excusing myself, I went out. As I scrolled my phone, there were 10 msgs on a row from Dev and 9 from rRehaan. Are they competing with each other?

Replying Rehaan was a bit easier  but Dev is being really a jerk. Why does he have to go out on a date with French girl? Disgusting.

DEV'S POV

This girl isnt replying me. I was joking about the date thing and she took it so freaking seriously. Who does that? Basically I am planning to surprise her by a sudden visit to San Fransisco but she is being so rude. How to get her address?

Cut the crap, I will go to her office and surprise her.

I am missing her to an extent that no one can even imagine. Never thought that someone would matter in my life so much. Probably because I met my first crush after so long and there is some spark left

NEXT DAY (SONA'S OFFICE)

I am late, shit. So much of work is pending, how am i Suppose to complete all these today. As I enter the premises, I could see a crowd and they were looking at a particular person in a circle. I took slow steps but it was difficult to get in between them but a voice shook me

"Guys, As you all know that I am from India and Sonakshi's friend, so can I a get a treat?" 

Dev Dixit!!!!

"Dev?" I screamed to get their attention and now all eyes were on me. I so fucking hate this attention and Dev is smirking. What the hell is he doing here in my office? That too without informing me?

"Here comes the lady" he said. The girls in my office were already drooling over him as they havent probably seen a handsome man before. But he is mine.. What did I just say? He is mine? I need to shut my brain off

I went near him and whispered in his ears, "What are you doing here?" with a fake smile plastered on my face. As I rolled my eyes, I could see our boss too smiling at us as if we were a couple. Of course I want to be but.. Oh Shut up my brain

"See, she is so delighted to see me here" Dev said and my expression changed as he pulled me for a hug. It was needed after two weeks long gap. It was so soothing that my anger for him vanished in a go and his next words were like the best music I ever heard

"I missed you"

My lips curled up into a smile automatically and he broke the hug. The warmth of his body was gone

"You never told us Sonakshi that you have such a charming friend" Lysa, one of the biggest flirts  but exceptionally talented spoke and I had to smile

"She is really protective of me" Dev replied and I stomped his feet with my heels

I looked upto Bihag whose smile had disappeared long back when he saw us hugging. Have i done wrong with him? As our eyes met, he broke it and went away to the coffee counter

"So Sona, we should get going" Dev said and I was all confused

"Where?" I asked

"On a day out with me baby" and I literally felt electricity running through my body
