Wednesday

"Seriously?" I giggled as I spoke with Amber at a restaurant in Soho.

I was done with my classes early and met with Amber, who was nearby after dropping off her handbags for cleaning at Leather Spa.

"Yes! She poured powder all over her self, Chloe. I couldn't even get mad at this point because I was in a rush!" Amber said smiling as she talked about Ally.

"So are you ready for the Gala on Friday?" She asked changing the subject after we concluded our laughter

"I have to be ready even if I wasn't. I just hope I don't run into anymore of James' ex girlfriends or play things. It really is becoming annoying now"

"Yeah James told me about Whatsherface at Jue LAN Club. Don't let these girls see you sweat. They are just upset my brother is with you. Pay them absolutely no mind." Amber said being encouraging

"Yeah I spoke with Dr. Rogers about that the other day and honestly I need to be more confident about my relationship with James. So the next airhead that approaches me will see the not so nice side of me"

"That's what I'm talking about!" Amber said

"Sorry I'm late" Sofia said seating down at our table

"It's fine, how you been?!" I said happy I finally saw my cousin

"Great besides the fact that I'm pregnant." Sofia said making a face

"Trust me, this is only the beginning wait until your back hurts, you are gassy, you have to use the bathroom every 5 min—"

"Please don't tell me. I've been pregnant for a day and I'm already over it. Ugh!" Sofia said putting her head down

"You will be fine. You have 8 more months to go!" I said

"That's the problem." Sofia said as Amber and I laughing at her statement

"So Chloe what's been going with you?" Sofia asked

"I'm just getting adjusted to grad school. It's a lot of reading and writing for sure" I said as I sighed thinking bout the work I had to do later tonight

"You're super smart. I'm sure you are passing all of your classes"

"Yes! I'm trying to get all A's in my classes"

"You're such a nerd" Sofia said chuckling at me

"I can't help it!"

"Are you coming to the gala on Friday too? Sofia" Amber asked as she typed on her phone

"I'm not sure honestly. Your brother Mark really does get on my nerves so I will really have to see if I'm going"

"Why aren't you going? Aren't you his date?" I asked looking at her

"Ugh, it's just a lot going on right now and I'd rather just not be around him"

"I think you should come. You don't have to talk to him. My mom was really looking forward to having blimpie at the gala" Amber said leaving me confused as to who she was talking about

"Who?" I said looking at them

"Oh gosh, my mother gave Sofia's baby a nickname. She even tell us we must call the baby that too. So it's Blimpie for now. She will change the name as times goes on. She did that to Ally when I was pregnant too" Amber said smiling

"Yes I think it's cute but it's weird for others to hear her say that. We were in Bloomingdales a few days ago and the sales person really thought that was my child's name saying it was a fashion forward name" Sofia said causing all of us to laugh
