After about another hour of hanging out with Amber, we came inside. Amber made us cocktails saying it was never too early to get the party started. Amber was seriously someone I found myself getting close to. After two drinks I had become tipsy, which was not a good sign.
"Omg Amber what are you putting in these drinks?"
"They are good right? I just double or triple the shots in every glass!" She said smiling at me
"What?" I said laughing with her
"You are with the big dogs now! Can't wait for tonight"
"Where are we going?"
"Karen is having a pre-game at her summer house. Then we are going to Red Stix restaurant and prolly to a club or lounge"
"Amber that sounds like a lot. We are pre-gaming now!"
"Chloe it's only 5. This is barely pre-game" she said rolling her eyes then smiling at me. We started Laughing before we were interrupted by James coming into the kitchen.
"So you guys are best friends now?" He asked
"Yes are you jealous?" Amber said with a slight attitude
"She's my girlfriend why would I be jealous?"
"Hasn't stop you before. Being jealous of your girlfriend" she shot back at him
James looked at her with a irritated look and said, "I'm not jealous"
"Oh okayyyy" I said playfully to ease the tension between the two
"Anyways, me and Chloe will be getting ready right now since the glam squad is here" She said grabbing my hand as she walked to the stairs
"Where are you going?" James said in a deep voice
"Ahh just out to eat at Red Stixs restaurant" I said quietly
"Relax James, my god. She's not a child, she will be fine"
"How many times have you said that in the past" he said looking at me but talking to Amber
"Funny you say that. I only really said that when Blake and I wanted to go out but you had a heart attack. you remember her?" Amber said as she stop walking
James clench his teeth before saying, "What's your reason for bringing her up?"
Amber dropped my hand and looked him in his face, "I'm bringing her up because you fail to do so. I'm bringing her up because you acted so concerned for like a day but now you could care less. I'm bringing her up because you lied about something involving her death. But whatever is done in the dark comes to light James"
"Whatever Amber. Chloe when your done playing dress up, I'll be in our room" James answered and walked off
Following Amber upstairs, we made our way into her spacious bedroom with her kingsize bed. Her bedroom was all white with a more modern yet girlie look to it. She had a studio like vanity with the perfect lighting in the right side corner of her room. Looking around I can tell Amber was a well organized person.
"Your room is nice" I said to her
"Thanks"
"Amber don't let the conversation you had with James change your mood"
"No he really gets me upset. Seriously Chloe be careful with him. It's my brother but I don't even trust him"
"Trust me I am. But you guys need to work out your issues cause you got so upset just now"
