✰Six✰

I enter the party and there's already so many people staring at me. I just walk past them and sit on a couch. A boy goes on the microphone.

"Welcome to my party everyone! Hope everyone is enjoying! Um but I just couldn't help but notice a very pretty lady in the corner. Do you mind coming up? The girl with the light pink dress and Brown curly hair!" Said a boy.

The boy looked at me and gestures me to come up. He takes the microphone again.

"Well pretty girl what's your name?" The boy Asked in amusement.

"Mackenzie Ziegler," I Say.

Everyone starts whispering and the boy even looks shocked. I mean of coarse they would be. Mackenzie Ziegler? The sad loner girl looking cute? Nah!

"Well Mackenzie you've changed quite a bit!" The boy says in a slightly more awkward tone.

"Well um ya...I'm gonna go now," I awkwardly walk off of stage, ignoring all the stares.

I sit down back at the couch and spot Johnny. He's dancing with Kelsea. Ugh I don't even know what he sees in her. Then the boy from before approached me.

"Hey there I'm Mark," said Mark.

"Hey," I smiled.

"I couldn't help but notice your all alone, care to dance?" Mark asked giving me his hand.

"Sure," I Say taking it.

I mean it couldn't hurt to have a little fun could it?

We started dancing and couldn't help but notice Johnny looking at me. Then before I know it Mark kisses me but I don't kiss back but I still stand there.
I see Johnny had his jaw clenched and his fists were ready to punch. I pull away.

"Uh I'm gonna go get a water," I smile.

"Alright," Mark says letting me go.

I walk over to the sink but someone turns me around, it was Johnny.

"What do you want?" I say brining the cup to my lips.

"You need to stay away from Mark!" Johnny Says.

"Why exactly," I fold my hands.

"He's a player! And trust me when I say he'll break your heart!" Said Johnny.

"Why do you care?" I Say.

"Because he's bad!" Johnny Says flailing his arms in the air.

"Any player is better than a person who physically beat me up!" I say walking away.

Johnny looks hurt but he's hurt me more and physically! I walk over to Mark and he's holding a glass of water.

"Hey I got you your water!" Mark says shoving it towards me.

"Thanks!" I say grabbing it.

As I'm about to take a sip someone grabs it from my hand, it was Johnny again!

"Hey!" I shout.

Johnny pours a little water on his finger and looks at Mark.

"Mashed up sleeping pills huh? Care to explain Mark?" Johnny said furiously.

Wait Mark put sleeping pills in my water?! Suddenly Mark punches Johnny and Johnny punches back super hard leaving Mark a black eye. Johnny grabs my hand and leads me outside.

"You see what he tried to do!" Johnny said.

"Whatever," I say looking away and trying my hardest not to make eye contact.

"Why Are you so mad at me?!" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"Oh do you have short term memory or something? Clearly you don't remember earlier today!" I say.

"I had to be mean cause Kelsea was there!" Said Johnny. "Can we just be friends!".

"Fine I guess...." I said.

"And your going home now!" Said Johnny grabbing my hand.

"What no!" I said pulling it away.

"I don't want you near Mark!" Johnny said grabbing it once again.

As I said I wasn't the person to put up an argument so I just agreed.

He dropped me off at home and I fell asleep. Why was Johnny so worried?! Jesus! Little did I know the surprising events of the next day....
