- Aidan's POV -

- HOME, Monday, 6:30 AM - 

The alarms beeps loudly, signaling me once again to wake up as always.

I feel slightly unmotivated, thinking of Liana with this guy before.

I stand up and stumbled my way across the shower.

Turning on the shower, I reminisce that exact moment.

Why was she sitting with him?

Maybe it was a mistake not to tell her who I am.

She never got to see that character of me again.

I was a coward.

I was never even able to tell her the truth.

I made a big mistake that I regret.

Now she loves someone else.

But I promised myself not to give up on her.

And I'll never break that opportunity.

After showering, I get dressed into some thick clothes and headed downstairs.

I saw mother, humming while she finishes cooking our breakfast.

She looks at me and greets in a loving manner.

I sit down at the table as she serves it on a bowl.

She cooked a warm bowl of beef stew.

This is one of my father's favorite dishes my mother makes.

He would always savor the flavor of her cooking long ago.

I take a small bite, only to be welcomed by the overwhelming sensation.

It's delicious, just like her love she gives in everything I eat.

After eating almost a bowl and a half, I pick up my back and head on to our door.

"Alright mother, I'll be going now." I say, twisting the door knob in an angle.

"Okay. Goodbye dear, I love you." She warmly smiles, waving at me slightly.

"I love you too, mother." I return, opening the door and going back to the cold atmosphere.

I find my way to school and started my day.

- SCHOOL, 4:30 PM - 

I managed to exit class quietly.

I'm planning to give Liana another letter that I've written during winter break.

Approaching her locker, I slowly insert the letter.

Halfway inserting, I hear a distant shout.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!" The person's voice gets louder and louder as he gets near.

It's Jordan.

He picks me up and throws me on the ground.

The scene caused a commotion among the others.

The pain made me scream into tears.

"Wait until Liana sees this." He laughs as he kicks me onto my stomach.

I continue to scream, taking in the pain.

He took a picture and laugh hysterically.

I stand up and ran away as he threatens me.

As I started running, I pass Parker, shoving him away.

"Hey! Aidan, why are you running?!" He shouts, trying to catch up to me.

"Hey! Wait!" I hear another distant voice.

I couldn't look back, but I recognize the voice.

Is that her?
