So, my story is about a young Muslim couple, and I understand that not all my lovely readers will understand some of the terminology I use. That's why I thought I should make up a quite glossary of words for you guys to refer to if need be :)
Bismillah - In the name of Allah (God)
Alhamdulillah - all praise be to Allah
Subhanallah - Glory be to Allah
MashaAllah - 'as God willed' (used in a situation of joy and thankfulness)
Astaghfirullah - may Allah forgive me
Salaam/Assalamu Alaykum - Peace be upon you
Wa alaykum salaam - reply to salaam - may peace be upon you too
InshaAllah - if Allah wills
Nikaah - islamic marriage ceremony
Walimah - feast held after the wedding to celebrate the union
