Ah Jiu reminded him, “Young man, you are playing with fire.”

Bai YueSheng’s expression was determined. “I have to try.”

He knew his words would definitely provoke Lance. However this probably was Bai YueSheng’s only chance.

Out of all of his ex-boyfriends, he could only try this method on Lance.

For one, Lance was a little angel. Although he had suffered greatly in the world of the gods, he had never thought about destroying himself. Also the relationship between the two of them can be considered pure.

Although Lance had deep feelings towards however Bai YueSheng had always treated him with the attitude of a godfather. If not for De Mo’s meddling, they probably would never have crossed that barrier. They would have lived as godfather and godson for that lifetime.

So Bai YueSheng thought it was worth a gamble and a try. If it succeeded then he would be able to get rid of at least one problem.

Although his “problems” were numerous, however one less is still good. Bai YueSheng wasn’t greedy.

“Lance,” Bai YueSheng made his voice gentle. “Go back, okay? Everything between us… has already come to an end.”

This kind of blunt statement made Lance’s face loose all color. He pressed his lips together and said hoarsely, “Is it because of him?”

He didn’t look at Qiu ChangFeng but that wild and unrestrained killing aura was as potent as dipping bones into venom, it was bitter and sour and went straight into the heart and lungs.

Bai YueSheng had expected him to become inflamed so he didn’t hesitate to reply, “No.”

Lance’s eyes were dark. “I don’t believe it.”

Bai YueSheng very honestly told him, “I knew Qiu ChangFeng before I met you. He was the first child I raised and is also at the same time, someone I hate to the bone. I will never forgive him and definitely wouldn’t give up on anything because of him.”

Lance couldn’t understand. “Then why?”

Bai YueSheng paused and then suddenly smiled. It was a very warm smile. “Lance, what’s past is past. Let it go, okay?”

Lance stared at him.

Bai YueSheng sighed. “You said before that you would never force me. Isn’t that right?”

Lance looked as though he had been electrocuted. His whole body trembled. “Yes.”

“In that case I wish that you would return to Midgard.” Bai YueSheng steeled his heart.

Lance stood there, buffered by the cold wind. The narrow alleyway he stood in felt like an abyss, the cold wind rushed through his body, almost freezing his blood solid.

Bai YueSheng also suddenly felt pain. If Lance agreed then… he would always owe him.

He wasn’t sure how long it took but Lance once again looked at Bai YueSheng. Those usually clear blue eyes were now cloudy. The expression made one’s heart twist with pain.

He finally spoke and his voice was very low. It was as though he had lost everything. “I understand.”

Bai YueSheng’s heart jumped.

Lance raised the corner of his lips and smiled at Bai YueSheng. “As long as you’re happy, I can do anything.”

If in your whole world only one person was left then that person would become your entire world.
