Pulling out little hairs in the front to frame my face and give it an elegant look.

I decided to apply a bit of making. Filling in my eyebrows a bit, putting on concealer to hid my darkness and a bit of mascara. I was ready. I looked fairly casual but looks like I put effort.

I went into my room and grabbed my cream coloured cardigan, My bag and my vans and went downstairs.

I sat down on the couch and put my shoes on. Una came up to me and licked my arm, wanting attention. As I finished putting my shoes on, the door bell rang. Una jumped from the couch and ran to the door.

She barked and jumped, curious to see who was here.

I picked her up and looked through the peep hole. There David stood. I suddenly remembered how nervous I was. I adjusted una on my hip and opened the door. "Hey!" I said. David smiled and looked at the puppy in my hands.

"Hey, whos this?" He said reaching his hand out and petting una on the head.

She tried to wiggle out of my hands to greet the new person. I giggled as she tried to lick Davids hand. "This is Una, I got her just a couple of months ago." David bent down to eye level and started cooing to her.

"You're such a pretty girl, yes you are!" Una licked his nose and he chuckled. "Okay una, gotta go in the kennel. Mama is leaving."

I walked over to her kennel and put her inside, closing the hatch. I turned around and was met by David standing in the door way. His eyes wandering around the apartment. "Nice place, it's very warm and cozy." He said, his attention turning to me. I looked around and smiled.

"Yeah, this is basically my little safe haven. I love it" We kinda just stood there, in an awkward silence. "Should we get going?" I said. He nodded his head and we left through the front door. We rode the elevator down and walked to his car.

"I really like your car. It's so nice." I admired his car.

I'd never seen a car this nice so close before, let alone be inside of one. "I love this car with my heart. It's my baby." He said getting inside. I opened the door and took a seat in the front.

"So David. What do you have planned for us to do this evening?" I looked at him while buckling my seat belt. He averted his attention to me and kinda just shrugged his shoulders.

"Whatever the amazing Salem has in mind, we shall do." He said looking at me. I giggled and thought for a second. "Well, it's kinda hot out today. Wanna get some ice cream?"

David buckled his seat belt and turned the car on. "You just read my mind." He said smiling at me. "Does cold stones sound good?" I asked him.

"Sounds perfect." He said grinning. He pulled out of the parking garage and turned left. Cold stones was actually kinda far. I was suddenly finding myself nervous for the upcoming conversation.

"So David, what made you so interested in making videos?" I asked looking out the window.

"It all really started on vine. I made a couple and someone I'm actually friends with now reposted one onto his page. He had a pretty big following so I got popular kinda fast. After vine was ended up dying out, I switched to YouTube."

It was interesting to see how someone can go from making seven second videos, to making four minute and twenty second videos. All with at least 5 million views.

I did a little research, and by research I mean I watched a couple more of his videos, and it turns out he lives a crazy life.

Partying and spontaneous trips to Vegas in private jets, it was a lot for me to take in. Sitting with him now, so mellow and actually kinda nervous from what I can see, he doesn't seem like the party type.

Never judge a book by its cover I guess.

"That's actually really cool. So from YouTube you kinda just skyrocketed I assume?"

David nodded his head. "I wouldn't say it took off immediately, but quicker than I had predicted. I was shocked to say the least. People who watch my videos now say I help them by making their day a little better or at least making them smile. That's why I do it now. I do it to make people smile and laugh."

That pulled at my heart strings. He seemed so dedicated to what he did, it was quite amazing.

"That's really sweet David." I looked at him. He glanced at me and smiled. I could see the blush creeping up to his cheeks.

"Wanna see something cool?" He asked. "Sure." He stopped in the middle of the road and looked at me. "Are you ready?" I didn't know how to respond so I just nodded my head.

Without warning, he stomps on the gas and we are instantly going sixty miles an hour. I let out a squeak and grabbed the nearest thing I can grab onto.

He slowed down and started laughing. I opened my eyes and started laughing too. "Holly fuck you should've seen your face."

I could feel my face getting hot. I continued laughing, one because it was funny and two because I potentially thought I was gunna die.

"Damnit Dobrik, you almost gave me a fucking heart attack." I giggled and looked down. I suddenly saw that I had grabbed onto his hand that had been on the center console.

I quickly took my hand away and blushed.

"I didn't mean to scare you, but that was great." I looked at him. He looked so happy and giddy. The twinkle in his eyes only added to the light airy feeling that was around us.

"That was crazy but so much fun." I laughed. I noticed we were almost there. The rest of the ride was quiet. It was comfortable.

Once we got there, David pulled into the parking lot and parked his car. He got out while I gathered my stuff. I grabbed my bag and was about to open my door when David beat me to it.

"Why Thank you David, what a general man." He chuckled and pretended to curtsy. "Anything for the fine miss." He said in a horrible posh accent. I got out of the car and we headed inside the building.

"Hi welcome to cold stones. What can I get for you today?" We were greeted by and tall man. He looked to be around my age, maybe older. Light freckles littered his face and his green eyes looked tired.

"I'll take a double scoop of cookies n' creme in a cup, please." David said. I looked around at the ice creams. "And I'll take a double scoop of the cotton candy in a cup too, please."

The guy nodded his head and got to work scooping the ice cream into cups. He rung us up and I brought out my wallet.

Before I could pull some cash out, David had beat me to it. He gave the guy his card and paid for the ice cream. "You know I could've paid." I said looking at him.

He turned to me and got a little closer to my face. "Gotta be a little quicker next time." He grabbed both of our cups and I pulled out a five dollar bill.

I put the bill into the tip jar and we went outside to sit down.

I kept replaying the scene that just happened in my head. I immediately think about the girl that was in his video, Liza. I wasn't one to pry, but I also wasn't one to break up a relationship.

I sighed as I leaned back into my chair.

"Something on your mind Salem?" David asked. I straightened up in my seat and started eating my ice cream.

"Nothing in particular, Dobrik." I said looking at him and taking a bite of my ice cream. I don't know what came over me, but I had the sudden urge to look him in the eye. Almost teasingly might I add.

He let out a muffled sigh and looked right back at me in the eye. "You know, I can read people pretty easily. I can tell something is bugging you, or at least you have something to say."

I set my spoon down in my cup. "Are you dating Liza?"

Fuck.
