No, I am not going to find a cure for any physical or mental illness. There are enough doctors and scientists, qualified and dedicated, to do that. If I could I would find a cure for a vice, a vice which is the base for almost all the ills that plague our society.
I would find a cure for irresponsibility. For irresponsibility is a plague in a society, for few of us are taught the meaning and the importance of being responsible and accountable. At every age and every stage of our lives we have to be responsible, to what is expected of us and to the people around us. Unfortunately, most of us seem to be brought up with a sense of entitlement and a feeling that life and society owe us, rather than the other way round.
That need of the times, as I see it, is a cure for irresponsibility.
