you giggle to yourself as you almost trip over for the 100th time that night. luckily, your boyfriend catch you this time. he had left for 10 minutes to grab something he forgot from the precint, "are you drunk?" jake asks you with an amused smile on his lips.
"maybe" you slur, dragging the word out as you laugh at yourself. your boyfriend rolls his eyes and helps you to your shared bedroom. "hey jakey" you say and jake looks down at you, waiting for you to finish whatever you were going to say.
"let's have a baby" jake's eyes widen in shock as he pulls back from you a bit, "I'd love to have kids with you just not right now." he tells you, laughing slightly at your drunken state.
"why not? I think we should!" you say in excitement, "you'd be a great dad" jake smiles at you fondly as he helps you get into bed, "you're drunk, we will talk about this later" he kisses the top of your head as he pulls the blankets up to cover your body, "I love you"
