So this is an interview with Cheyenne Jackson who plays Hades, about Descendants 3. He is asked about his 'child' and states that it is a 'secret'. Also right after, notice how he dictates his next words, 'but it is a huge...", emphasizing those words before he then cuts off, looks around, and then says 'musical' before going on to discuss the musical aspect of the movie.
I think Cheyenne Jackson is trying to give us a hint about his child's reveal and how big this news and revelation will be, not just for the fans, but for the Descendants Characters as well. We know Maleficent told Mal her father is a weak human, so what if that is all she knows? What if her father being a god, is just as shocking for her as it is for us?
Whatever it may be, I think our Hades is giving us his best hint at what's to come.
