You moved out to LA from your small hometown to pursue your career in dance. You're currently a freshmen at a performing arts school. One day, you're in your dorm and get invited to a party by your roomate.. at the PRETTYMUCH house...
"Yea, uhm I heard you, Cade. I'm gonna hang up though and your gonna go to bed and we're forget this conversation ever happened, alright?"
"But I meant what-what I said."
"Cade, you're drunk."
"Doesn't mean I don't know what I'm doing. I just care less about the consequences."
There was a pause over the phone.
"I just needed to tell you cause I wouldn't have be-before."
"Okay, well get some sleep."
"Ok-okay. Goodnight, Ne-Nessa."
"Goodnight."
I hung up the phone and fell back on to my bed. What the hell just happened? I sat there and was kind of at a lost for words. He was just drunk, and probably didn't mean it.. right? I let out a big sigh and I guess it woke Kayla up.
"Nessa, what's wrong?"
"Nothing.. sorry."
"Was that you?"
"Yea, I just... stubbed my toe."
"Okay? I'll see you in the morning."
"Goodnight."
She turned around and closed the door. I looked down at my phone and sighed. I tossed it on the floor and rolled over and went to sleep.
NEXT MORNING
Iwoke up and heard my phone buzz. I rolled over and picked it up and looked down.
