All I am

I am the blind man, who didn't lose his sight,

the one you read about in loose articles, 

in books and newspapers,

the one who composed languages,

who fought dreadful savages,

I am the deaf man, who can hear,

the child who fought wars with a spear,

I am the illiterate man who can write,

histories of a beloved knight,

I am the dead-man who still can breathe,

the fragrances of love and hate,

each step in every gait,

O'darling I live in every-house,

been to every grouse,

you find me in peace and war,

in heavens and hell,

I've been living forever,

even in horrifying graves,

I am the promise, that broke its oath,

the student who never learnt,

the empire that was burnt,

I am the desiccated and lively oceans,

O' and I could go on,

I am who you want me to be,

that's all I am,

Nothing but what you want me to be.
