I hear a knock on my car window. I hesitate and look up, it's Evelyn. She always comes to check on me. It's nice of her but I don't know what it means. I unlock the doors and she climbs into the front passenger side.
"I'm sorry I yelled at your sister" I say guiltily. She turns to me.
"Alice?" she says quietly.
"Yeah " I say while turning to look at her. Our eyes meet and she smirks. She leans over and kisses me softly. I kiss her back. This time I know it's not a dream. We separate and I look out the window.
"You don't have to apologise to anyone, Abbey was way out of line." she reassures me. I think I know what all this means now. Evelyn heads back inside to tell everyone were leaving. Noah appears with Evelyn.
"Abbey's not coming with us, I told her to find her own way home." Evelyn says.
"You didn't have to do that, I would of drove her home. It's the least I could do after lashing out at her." I tell her.
"It doesn't matter Alice." she says sounding irritated. I drop Noah home and then we head to our room.
