One Life

We get one life so we'd best start living.

We make our plans but the days fly by.

We have so much so we'd best start giving.

You won't be heard till you hear the silent.

You're not a man till you learn to cry.

The strongest hands are the hands least violent.

The truth comes out in the strangest places.

The truth may burn and the truth may sting.

Belonging hides in the lonesome faces.

Some lessons you cannot learn in college.

     Experience only striving brings.

You have degrees but do you have knowledge?
