We've been stuck out here for far too long.
I've tried to warm you with this broken song.
Frostbite stinging on a heart once strong.
How could we be right when we seem so wrong?
To hurt, to lose,
To burn, to choose,
To find, to need,
To die, to bleed.
Nothing numbs you more than being frozen
And nothing slows you down like falling down.
You don't know out of breath until you drown.
Every heart is prone to misdirection,
To mend and sever ties before it's too late to say,
I almost loved you yesterday.
