Seth raised an eyebrow as he crossed his arms. "Look, what do you exactly want from me?"

"Oh nothing, I was just casual strolling through the neighbourhood you know no reason, and now I'm thinking about cutting off your fingers and feeding them to the squirrels," Ace responded as he held a stone face making him appear serious as he said that. Was he though? Was he really threatening him or was it just him trying to mess with Seth?

Seth wouldn't exactly know if it actually happened.

"That whole sentence just makes me question why Natalia even wants to be with you."

"That's because you haven't been with me," Ace said still keeping his face stone and empty of any emotions as he said those words.

But Seth on the other hand, blushing would have been no problem, but what Seth did was go as red as a beetroot and radiate heat like a hot pan. You could have cooked a three-course meal on his face. No one could have missed it. He wanted the earth to open up and swallow me whole. But there was no rescue from his embarrassment. It was absolute. Torture. He of course being so young misunderstood the whole context of what Ace said and it slightly amused the older boy but didn't show it.

"Alright that's enough I'm going to go now," Seth said turning around wanting nothing more but to walk away, of course, Ac had different plans. He was enjoying the boy's embarrassment too much. Letting out a laugh he followed Seth down the hall before speaking up with his words laced in a teasing manner,

"Ohh come on we were just starting, I could already feel the bromance forming but I guess the feelings aren't mutual why are you being such a grump to me." Stopping in his tracks Seth turned around to face the older boy again but this time his face showed pure shock.

"Uh, have you met you? You're not a nice person, you just called yourself mean seconds ago." Seth's comment only made Ace roll his eyes and lean against the wall.

"Oh, you haven't even met the not-nice me, on our last meeting, you barely scraped the surface. Butttt if you continue doing what you just did seconds ago I won't have a choice but to show you." Seth looked over the boy a realized something that for the first time since the two started talking he got a grin on his face.

Ace was jealous.

Of course, he would never admit it, his pride being nearly as big as his ego. He was like Icarus who flew too close to the sun. He thought he was invincible until the wax melted from my wings. At first, it was drip by drip. He was too busy enjoying my flight to even notice. That's just what pride does to people, it blinds them to their own demise. Before Ace knew it he was crashing down toward the jealous sea.

Seth clearly enjoyed the fact that the older boy was jealous of him and couldn't help but reply with a teasing comment.

"Jealousy really doesn't suit you." Snapping his head back to the boy so fast you would think he could break it Ace's eyes were pitch black. His anger issues were always a problem. And right now they were starting to grow inside him. He was known to do things before thinking. That's why he and Jeremy were such a great team, Jeremy was always the brain of the operation, he was the stable one but that didn't mean he was less ruthless. He just didn't act out on his emotions as much as Ace did.

"Oh bite me." That was all that Ace managed to say and Seth couldn't help but shrug his shoulders grinning, he would be lying if he said he didn't have dreams about ripping Ace's head off.

"Thought about it. But then I remembered that for some unknown reason, you are Natalia's mate." Pulling away from the wall while rolling his eyes Ace moved his hands to his face showing obviously fake fear.
